He had one hell of a career. I like it.
Clearly loves it here and has a ridiculous amount of knowledge and experience to pass on.
19 years in the NFL is insane for an O Lineman.

Good move. I've never heard of that position he accepted, but it seems like an excellent fit for a future Hall Of Famer.

In about 5-7 years, Peters will become the newest NFL legend to have a bust in Canton where hundreds of people each year will read the fine print and think "that guy played for the Seahawks?". It's a proud tradition.

Jason Peters is one of the great NFL rags to riches stories. He will be a great addition to improving our mediocre offensive line and I hope they listen when he pounds the table.

In 2004, during the Holmgren/Ferguson years, I was engulfed in the draft and pushed Jason Peters and Jared Allen hard & often.

Allen- 4th rd #126 KC
Peters- undrafted FA Bills

Seahawks draft
Tubbs
Boulware
Locklear
Niko
Hackett
Terril
Jones- Punter

The last NFL player older than me. An era ends.
Same here :(.

And not only am I now older than every single player in the NFL, I am older than every single player in all of the Big 4 sports leagues. I just looked it up assuming there was at least some guy in MLB or the NHL older than me, but nope...

Very impressive indeed, Peters joined the team in mid-season, he only had a few games to impress our young genius, and in those few games, he did!
