I already stated this in another thread, but my vote is between your first and second option. I can never bring myself to anoint champions. Too much can happen between now and then, but my confidence levels are the highest they've ever been during an off season

Its definatly the most confident i've felt at this point of the year, and its not even close.

But if youre talking about a single spike of confidence, I was even more confident after destroyin the Panthers in the NFC Championship then I am right now. I thought there was no way we were losing the Super Bowl.

Yes there is no doubt. We are so young and still bringing in outside talent to get better. We showed we can win on the road too. Let's go!

Have to abstain. Most excited and confident, yes. Guaranteed champions, no.

I'm always nervous. So as excited and pumped as I am, I still need to see some games played on the field.

i'm definitely excited...but i was just as excited about rick mirer, the boz, aaron curry...to name a few...so i think guarded excitement is a better term...certainly, these cats are not them...

100%. I'M IN.

If we don't win the Super Bowl this year I will go on a shooting rampage of every single one of my dog's toys.

Very excited. Need to see it on the field now. Anything can happen so I can't just crown us.

No. Clemons is still hurt, Avril doesn't have a rep for stopping the run, Bennett appears to be a slightly better Jason Jones, and we need a 3 tech for 2 downs.

You didn't specify this year, so this year or next or maybe two years down the road....but yeah, champions.

:)

Very, very excited, but I want to avoid Super Bowl champs, paper edition #1300. They have to show me on the field next year.

I have to be honest, as much as I want to believe, I am a scarred Seattle sports fan. The '94 Sonics started that particular job and the '01 Mariners and '05 Seahawks finished it.

What is the one thing in common with those teams?

None of them had first name Russell last name Wilson.

You didn't hear? He's already signed to be starting center for the Sonics when they move up here.

He's serious about disproving the "too short" stereotypes

I'm excited, but I don't like to be overconfident nor set my expectations too high. I hope the team won't be overconfident either.

Yes, I think this is the most excited I've been this far before the season has even begun, though I was really super pumped for the 1984 season too. The anticipation is almost unbearable! But as much talent as we have amassed, I am a long time Seattle sports fan, so I never let myself get too jacked up anymore. Something always happens to scuttle our dreams, like the dreaded "I" word... the word that will not be spoken... The word that happened to Curt Warner in the first damn game of that 1984 season... ARGHHH!!!! So I guess call it really excited, yet tempered to cushion the possible letdown, which is what I do pretty much every season nowadays.
