For practice squad?
Reserve/futures contract generally means a camp invitation and a leg up on the practice squad if he doesn't make the team.

Our front line DBs are pretty well set for next year, but 5-7/8 could be open.

Palpable negativity here, silly folks. This addition is a low risk high potential upside pickup.

How many prospects for S are 6’2.5”, weigh 205, run 4.36/40, with a 1.55/10 split, 32.5“ arms, and was drafted in 2022 in the 3rd round? This player was a SFA to the Hawks having been drafted by LAC, was injured and then cut by them after TC, then following on both Philly and Bears PS.

The knock on him is he seems to be floating around unable to stick elsewhere. He could just be a very cheap futures deal acquisition with an upside. His draft profile and info is on the roster page.

Probably just a depth type player but he’s certainly worth having a cheap look at for the offseason.

The dude has potential, no doubting it. This is probably his last stop if he can't figure it out.

Our young and very talented HC is very good at getting capable players to ‘get it‘. Hope he can work his magic with this athlete. The player seems to have the raw ability but is missing the ‘get it’. Time will tell, and likely I’m being optimistic, it’s a personal fault. This quietly might be long term + score for the team. Hope so.

Toxic positivity here 👍
