(On Percy Harvin......) “He did fine,” Carroll said. “He really did fine. He participated in everything today with the exception of the two-minute drill. He looked and I think he felt pretty good about it. … we’ll come back next week and get after it and just go one day at a time, and I expect he is going to be able to make some progress. That’s barring a setback. He’s very encouraged and we are excited for him.”

Asked if he was surprised that Harvin did as much as he did, Carroll said no, adding “he stayed right on schedule today. He was fine about it. If he had an issue we would have pulled him out, but that wasn’t necessary.”

Carroll said that Harvin “looked really sharp today for not being out there. It’s hard to imagine, but it’s because of the background with (offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell) and he’s done a good job of staying with the system and keeping up all along.”

(On Luke Willson......)Luke Willson, who suffered an ankle sprain in the win over the Rams, “looks really good. He was running and weaving and doing some good things. He’s had an ankle sprain just like this before. He’s managed it before. He came out the very next day and said ‘I’ll play.’ So he’s real encouraged about it. "

Also info on KJ Wright and Jermaine Kearse. All of it good, positive reports.

He's doing that well and still has over a week till he has to play. Goodness that makes me giddy. This whole report does!

I think Willson has a high pain threshold and also realizes that Zach miller's going to need to restructure or might not be here so wants to do everything he can to make an impression.

I know Willson's had a couple drops but I feel like for where he was drafted, he's been really solid.

I think Willson will be our future #1 TE after a few seasons of learning how to block from Zach Miller.

I also think Harvin will be a huge factor in our playoff success. I cannot wait to watch our first game with him out there in the playoffs.

I wish KJ could have made it back for the divisional round, if the Saints win as I suspect. He played a hell of a game against Graham and his loss was felt in the loss to the 9ers. I am happy to hear the Luke Willson has a chance to make next week's game.

Wilson is a well built 5'11 215 like a RB with a little longer arms. Everybody is banged up and sore this time of year, but what I'm getting at is that he's got a body style that can withstand a little more compared to the lankier QBs out there.

Willson the TE, not Wilson the QB. It can be confusing. And I am assuming you are responding to Willson's injury status and not something regarding Wilson the QB that I missed?

Shouldn't affect his speed much. Will be interesting to see if he can make all of his cuts and hold his own in blocking assignments.

Have heard nothing of anything regarding QB Wilson. He has his dings and bruises, but he's fine AFAIK.

TE Willson had that ankle sprain. Good to hear he's practicing. We could sure use him in the playoffs. He's just coming into his own.

The injury report was CLEARLY reported in my OP as LUKE WILLSON the Tight End that had the ankle sprain.

So, at best Seahawks will get a limited Luke Willson which should still mean more snaps for M-Rob = better run game. Win-win-win for everybody.

And at best they'll get a limited Percy Harvin, who will likely take snaps away from across the WR corps but mostly from Kearse and Lockette is my guess = better short to intermediate passing game and more one on one matchups for Tate and Baldwin.

Then the Seahawks will either get one of the worst road teams in the NFL in the Saints, or what should be a worn down road team coming off 6 days of rest after what would be a very physical game in sub-zero temperatures (extreme injury weather) in either San Fran (3rd road game in a row) or Green Bay.

Things are looking up. Now we just need KJ to come back and possibly Unger plus Okung to get as healthy as they possibly can with their lingering injuries and play like Pro-Bowlers.

Zach Miller's contract calls for a decrease in pay next year so he will most likely be back without renegotiation. The expensive years were last season and this season.

Agree as he killed it against Graham. If he doesn't and we do play NO, we may well see Kam on Graham if they get here next week.
