First playoff game.....with some assumptions

Don't want to look too far ahead, but have a problem.....

Wife planned a Hawaii trip that has us leaving the night of Saturday the 11th. I can attend a 1pm game and still get to the airport for the flight.

Assuming the Hawks win tomorrow, how would our playoff game be determined after the bye week? Would we get the Saturday or Sunday game or is it a complete toss up? Would it be a 1pm start or could they shift it to later?

Appreciate any insights.

If this is true we would be the Sunday late game more likely than not. Higher seeds get the primetime slots.

Interesting, maybe they do like regular season? What they believe gets the ratings? Though last year it sure seemed higher seeds played the late slots.

Higher seed has nothing to do with scheduling. The only game they will be ruled out for will be the Sunday early kickoff since the league isn't scheduling a kickoff in Seattle at 10 AM. The Saturday games start later in the day .. so they could very well play at 1:30 PT or 5:30 PT on a Saturday.

And it's not a ratings game.. all NFL playoff games draw huge numbers. League isn't worried about that.

Best thing to do is stay at home and send the Mother in Law with her, if possible book her an extra couple weeks and tell her she deserves it.



Or google the playoff schedule after tomorrows slate of games, they will have it on the air like 30 seconds after it's completed.

I am too. I finally get to see my Bruins play the Sharks in person since the game is a Saturday night and wouldn't you know, Seahawks playoff game possibility. Fingers are definitely crossed.
