Giants 40-0 win - who cares
Jets 40-10 win - who cares
Cardinals 28-16 loss - loss to one of the worst teams
Patriots 38-3 win - who cares
Niners 42-10 loss - ugly as expected
Chargers - 20-17 win - barely beat the Chargers? Really?
Rams 48-20 win - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Eagles 28-23 loss - their one quality loss.
Giants 40-17 win - who cares
Panthers 33-10 win - who cares
Commanders 45 - 10 win - who cares
Seahawks within a score at the half -

Where’s the quality wins? Outside of taking a divisional opponent, on a down day, to the wire, it just isn’t there.

The Hawks are not good. No one is claiming that. The Cowboys barely beat a bad team at home. They are not as good as their record. Learn context.

Cowboys 43-20 loss - ouch (again, lost to a SB contender)

1 - I was really puzzled by this complete non-sequitur of a post, until I saw who authored it.

2 - I wasn’t making fun of the Cowboys. I was pointing out that they aren’t the juggernaut that so many people are making them out to be. All the pundits who have been sucking them off will be scratching their heads at the end of the year, after Dallas loses 3 of their next 4.

3 - As I pointed out in the game day forum, the Cowboys are so bad, they couldn’t even put away a bad Seahawks team, and I would have the same take if the Hawks won. I even said it to the folks sitting at the bar with me, right after we went up by two scores.

This wasn’t a case of the Seahawks elevating their level of play, nor Dallas having an uncharacteristically bad game (the two narratives that we are going to see out of Cowboys believers today) It was simply two, well-matched, but pretty much average, teams duking it out. Neither is going to give any of the true top ten teams a run for the money.

I’d say both teams are mired in the middle of the pack, and the Rams are right in there with us.
