This is a weird year.

I thought the Huskies would be a 9 win team... maybe break the top 20 if it all went just right.. and I certainly didn't expect the Ducks to be this bad.

Still not convinced the Huskies are an actual contender for the playoffs, but just musing...

Wouldn't it be absolutely hysterical if Oregon does a 4-8 or 3-9, and the chips just fell the right way and some weird crap happened in the playoffs and the Dawgs get into the playoffs, win one, and end up matched up with Michigan or some other team not named Alabama that Peterson could coach around (or Harbaugh's freaky bad luck comes into play), and the unthinkable happens and the Huskies luck into a "Natty" to cap this season?


Obviously an unlikely scenario, but still, just the idea of it, and how bitter that would taste to Duck fans...

I dunno, the Dawgs already gave a National Championship and the Ducks don't so wonder if they'd be any more bitter than they already are.
