I'm a Hawks fan exiled in Dallas, and listening to the delusional Cowboys sports talk around here is always entertaining. They are feeling way better about themselves than they ought coming off comical win against the Giants, and the consensus seems to be another easy Cowboys win in KC.
However I see many similarities in this game to the Dallas@Seattle game last year. The Cowboys are riding the high of an opening day vistory over the Giants and going on the road in the second week to face a team that has vastly and quietly improved from the previous year. Like the week two 2012 Seahawks, the 2013 Chiefs have a QB that, while not gaudy, will make smart plays and will not lose the game. They also have a number of playmakers at important positions on offense and defense, and appear to have solidified the trenches on both sides of the ball. While it may not be the physical beatdown that happened in the Clink last year, I can easily see the Cowboys going into KC and getting beat by two or more TDs.
