Okay, so this one's from back in March. I don't know if it's already been posted, because I wasn't around much over the spring. But I loved reading how Seattle has basically read the signs in the NFL's evolution to the passing game and the effects of CFB, and are at the leading edge of the wave of change.

The Seahawks have recognized the tactical advances that are in the forefront of the NFL’s next strategic cycle, and they have taken proactive measures to implement them. I will be very anxious to watch Seattle in 2013. They could well be the model for the NFL of the future -- the ideal fusion of Saturday and Sunday football.

Man, we haven't seen that "Saturday/Sunday" blend of offense yet. We did late last year, but not this year.

Be patient...it's coming.

I know, I know. My confidence it will come is the only reason you don't read me ripping Bevell. I bite my tongue, and wait.

In my opinion this is the RGIII effect. That got people thinking just how easily it can all come crashing down when you play loose. I think that they realized just how hard it is to find the one guy that can really lead a team, and just how few the great really are. Everything could come to a brake smoking stop if he got hit wrong.

IDK about you, but if I see more vanilla stuff getting us in a hole this Sunday followed by a big comeback with more creative plays in the second half, I won't be able to hold my tongue any further without biting it in half.

I recommend strip bandages like the kid who put his tongue on the light pole in A Christmas Story.
