This is a must read article. One of my favorites. I love these feel-good stories about teams building camaraderie.

Plus, you get to see Ryan Grubb rapping.

Also, a little interesting (albeit frustrating) detail, that Karl Scott, one of the only guys to remain from PC's staff, called defense the 2nd half against the Titans. No wonder it looked familiar. :cautious:

I've said this for years. The (pronounced THEE) most important element of any championship-caliber team is CHEMISTRY.

Yes talent and skill will take you far but nothing, and I mean nothing, is more important to a team that wants to win it all than building team chemistry. Ask any of the LOB era players...They LOVED their brothers and wanted to play hard for the man next to them. Sure, having Pro Bowl/Hall of Fame-caliber talent is incredible, but without building that precious team chemistry, none of it coagulates into a winning formula.

Just more reason I believe we have our Obi Wan Kenobi in Mike.

I’d take it a step further. Many of those Pro Bowl players were pro Bowl players because of the chemistry,The whole being greater than the sum of its parts.

They wouldn’t have been Pro Bowl players on other teams.

And the thing that destroyed that, for all of them, was when Pete elected to go with the chemistry destroying decision of giving Wilson so much leeway.

That’s not a Wilson bashing statement to those who might feel compelled to jump in and defend.

Reading the article, it sounds like DJ James might have worked himself onto the practice squad at best. Or clean off the team at worst.
