Before they claimed wide receiver Josh Gordon on waivers Friday, the Seattle Seahawks had been doing their due diligence on free-agent receiver Antonio Brown, league sources told ESPN.

Even star quarterback Russell Wilson was pushing the Seahawks to sign Brown before they claimed Gordon, according to sources.

AB was a productive player in Pittsburgh for many years, despite his "diva" attitude.
As human being, we aren't all wired the same way. Why is this always so difficult for some to understand?
Even at my company, I have seen managers get the most from certain people than others.
If we get that opportunity, we should give AB a shot.

Gordon has some demons, but AB is legitimately insane. And I don't mean that hyperbolically; something is clearly very wrong with his head. I hope he gets the help he so desperately needs, but a team would have be even crazier than him to actually allow him to take up a roster spot right now.

Man, why would any of you want Antonio Brown here? He's possibly the biggest team cancer in the history of the league. Plus, it would stunt DKs development. I've always been a huge Gordon fan and I like the pickup, not AB is on a whole different level, and not in a good way.

The "Seahawks did due diligence" really doesn't need to be more than half paying attention to what's been going on with recently. You can't take that on.
