The 919 has just taken over the sport. Audi had won 10 of the last 13 races. If the 919 wins next year it will be the first time a car was a four-time winner since the Porsche 956 in the 1980's. I think the Audi Hybrid Diesel of some type will be the next car to take over for this very interesting race.

Audi pulled out I think. Both Porsche and Audi are VW cars and with the trouble VW has been in, I don't think they wanted to spend the money.. and apparently it's billions to race these cars in it. Audi has gone to the electric or Formula E circuit which has been running for some two years now... and theirs rumor that Porsche might do the same thing so in the end, There maybe no high end cars running the LeMans anymore.

The 919 is a Hybrid so they are half way to full E lol
