Bill Walsh wanted Easley over Lott

Don’t know how to embed pics, but last week Lott spoke to fans how Walsh wanted Easley instead of him in the ‘81 draft but George Seifert went to bat for him and wanted him instead in the draft. Walsh and Dick Vermeil were friends which is what influenced him to prefer Easley. Seifert liked...

Rams only 3 1/2 point favorites over Niners

Hilarious. How do these Vegas guys do it?

    Michael Dickson's Dropkick Kickoff

Was legit....as a football fan and hardcore traditionalist, loved seeing that. Would really like to see a drop kick field goal, or fair catch kick.

Two images that I think defines a Russell Wilson

You put them together and it explains a lot. Not everything but close.

Predict the Divisional Playoff Games this weekend

Titans @ Patriots: Challenging to see a scenario where the Titans win assuming Brady and/or Gronk doesn't get hurt. The Titans tend to lack a strong identity.....I don't immediately identify with them as an offensive or defensive team....run vs. pass , etc. Having said that, last week's...

Predicting the NFC Final 6 at the halfway mark

    Currently: Eagles 7-1 Vikings 6-2 Saints 5-2 Rams 5-2 Seahawks 5-2 Predicted: Eagles 12-4 - #1 Vikings 9-7 - #4 Saints 10-6 - #3 Rams 11-5 - #2 Wildcard: Seahawks 10-6 #6 Cowboys 10-6 #5 (tiebreaker win over Seattle) AFC looks a little too wide open to predict right now outside of 2 or 3...

Jacksonville has best secondary per Bucky Brooks

"Jackson 5" is their proposed nickname. After picking off Roethlisberger five times, two for TDs, they seem to be the real deal. Gus installed a monster in North Florida. I'm rooting to see them become best defense of the AFC.

Rivers wins Class of 2004 revenge yet again

Don't think he's ever lost to Eli Manning straight up. Plus the other 2004 QB had a s*** day at home against the Jags today. Great day. I root against those two doofuses all the time.

Are the Rams finally living up past 7-9 expectations?

I didn't watch the game, but regardless of how bad a team or isn't...46-9 is a big deal. Maybe we call it a week 1 fluke, but still. They always had a defense, the best DL in the West....and now they have an offense?

    Who I miss the most

Is this guy: https://twitter.com/DylanADeSimone/stat ... 0593347584 Best quote in there: "Willis could have played in any era, which should be everyone's favorite thing about him" :irishdrinkers: 2020, I better be making hotel reservations for Canton.

Will Bradley Cooper be a good head coach of the Rams?

I think the playboy look will be a good fit for Los Angeles, and the youth movement will work well. Offensive mind plus the best DC in the business = 10-6. What do you guys think?

    LMAO Baalke

I've defended the guy out of Niner pride and got called for it here, and will have to take my lumps now.... But even people here couldn't have predicted this nonsense: http://www.knbr.com/2017/01/02/baalkes- ... is-firing/ So hilarious.......I wish this is just the tip of the iceberg!

How good is the NY Football Giants defense this year?

I haven't had a good chance to watch them in depth this year, just some highlights. Giants' fans obviously are proclaiming themselves best defense this year, and two wins against Cowboys gives them some ammo clearly. What say you, fans of Seattle and fellow NFC Westers? The impression I'm...

    Rams vs. Giants (England)

I look forward to watching this game. I think the Rams atone for their 2014 matchup where they went crazy trying to get into Beckham's head and gave up a ton of big plays.

With one game remaining against this division. I think a new AFC baller has emerged. Discuss.

    Daniel Patrick Quinn

Knows not only the 11 moving pieces anchored by Robert Wagner, but knows Wilson's tendencies from practice. He even knows wind patterns and weather trends at Qwest Field. Discuss whether any of this has impact for this coming Sunday.

Vikings and Falcons are this year's new NFC ballers

I'm going out on a limb this early and proclaiming them the new blood of the NFC, esp. if CAR & AZ can't hold their end of the deal. Someone's gotta do it. If the Giants beat the Vikings tonight, then maybe they can be in that mix. But right now I'm holding tight on the NFC East. First these...
