Official Countdown To Seahawks Opening Day

I was looking for an on-field action shot of him to post.

Official Countdown To Seahawks Opening Day

IMO, the Baldwin TD was just about as impressive. It's sad that it never gets shown in the highlight clips.

    Diggs still unsigned

Sadly, this seemed to be a common theme among veteran/FA acquisitions. Hopefully Macdaddy won't have that issue.

Throwback jerseys week 6 versus Niners

I like our current uniforms, and I'm happy to keep our throwbacks as throwbacks. But I'm with you on losing the neon greens.

Throwback jerseys week 6 versus Niners

I think my moment of realization came when Kam Chancellor hit Demaryius Thomas and launched him into last week.

    Titans sign Jamal Adams

I don't think you need to worry about that any more.

2013 Seahawks Defense vs 2024 Seahawks Defense

Fair enough. It was the nostalgia talking. But in my own defense, the 84 defense did have a historical turnover ratio. I remember reading a newspaper during that season. Someone had written a humorous article about football terminology. About "Field position," the author wrote that the...

Throwback jerseys week 6 versus Niners

Agreed, but the Broncos only when they are wearing their throwbacks.

Throwback jerseys week 6 versus Niners

Cool! I like the idea of wearing the throwbacks when playing teams whose uniforms haven't changed much since that era.

2013 Seahawks Defense vs 2024 Seahawks Defense

As much as I take joy in reading that, part of me hesitates. The 1984 defense can stake an arguably legitimate claim on that title. But the LOB won a Super Bowl. The 84 defense can't say that.

Interesting stats for fans down on Geno and/or Russ

That's the sort of thing I think of as a "bucket o' stats." It's basically meaningless without context. Context is everything.

I want one of these in emoji form.

Official Countdown To Seahawks Opening Day

Look, I know I'm 6 days late for this, but I feel like this guy deserves a shoutout and a spot on the wall.

Official Countdown To Seahawks Opening Day

I know someone is going to post a picture of Walt, and he's the greatest to have ever played the position. But this guy has always had a place in my heart. I give you Bryan Millard.

    “We Still Mad”. Bobby Wagner

Fair enough. I'll just say that at the end of the game (49) I didn't feel like the refs had actively intervened throughout the game to prevent us from winning. I absolutely did feel that way after XL*.

Official Countdown To Seahawks Opening Day

I remember one game when Mosi Tatupu was tackled by Manu Tuiasosopo. One of the commentators said something like, "I've been waiting all day for that to happen."

    “We Still Mad”. Bobby Wagner

It sucked. But as bad as it sucked, we lost that game fair and square. The Patriots did what they had to do to win the game, and we didn't. Contrast that with SBXL*, where it was literally stolen from us, and it's not even close for me which was the worse debacle. (I know this thread isn't...

    JSN Expected to Breakout

My impression of him from watching his college highlight videos wasn't just that he had elite change of direction, but that he had a gift for suddenly going in a direction the defender didn't expect him to go.

    Russel Wilson presser sign off

I think he only knows one way to smarm.

Sean Payton Was Toxic in Denver, Not Russell Wilson?

I think Broncos owners, even new as they are, are smart enough to understand what the disparity in money means on the field. The Rustbuckets have a many-tens-of-millions-of-dollars advantage over the Broncos this season, and that kind of money can buy a whole lot of non-QB improvements. We'll see.
