Rebuild the defense. Do you keep anyone?

Reading some of the comments, you'd think that Pete hasn't guided the Seahawks to be in the top five of winning franchises in the whole league over the past ten years. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/most-regular-season-nfl-wins-last-10-years It's funny how some people have such a quick...

Rebuild the defense. Do you keep anyone?

That sounds really disappointing for you. I am really happy to see how Pete Carroll works with the defense going forward.

    Dont Yell At Me

Prime Russell also failed in these situations just as every other QB alive or dead has. Romanticizing the past doesn't prove anything in the present.

    There is one good thing...

Is this a serious post? What exactly does asking Geno to be more than he is mean? It is really funny how you sit in a box with a pinhole looking out from this limited perspective claiming to see the whole world. When Geno, Pete, the defense, <insert whoever>, contradicts your view, you simply...

    There is one good thing...

Thank you for the laugh. You are certainly persistent, though misguided. I'm really curious about how you'll shift your displeasure when Pete is no longer coaching. I do hope that is quite a few years from now.

Still in favor of the 3-4 defense ?

The Seahawks' defense is really, really good.🍪

Crazy idea, but hear me out. Trade Geno.

The problem with this narrative is the sample size is really small. Just a few weeks ago he couldn't score in the second half, until he could. Evaluating a player for what they are doing in any one moment can look really smart and effective and reasonable until it's disproven. Geno has...

Crazy idea, but hear me out. Trade Geno.

A win or loss in game 5 wouldn't do much for Geno's league-wide viability perception. How he does over the course of the season as a whole with greater weight being given to games on the other end of the season is really what will have more relevance in Geno's league-wide perception. A few...

The Seahawks Need to be Careful (Upcoming Draft)

What I would say is that using hindsight to make any point is easy but disingenuous and often not effective or based in factual truth. Every team has hits and misses. Every team has injuries. Every team has long-shot success and blue-chip failures. Being freed of the former QB, Bobby, Brown...

    Historically bad defense

Maybe write a letter? Protest in front of the stadium? Make a ranting YouTube channel?

1/4 of the way through the season how many more wins?

What are the winning mega millions numbers next January?

The Seahawks Need to be Careful (Upcoming Draft)

There is a negative contingent here that is emboldened with losses. Fade is emboldened even in wins because Fade sees everything through a worldview of all things Pete Carroll are all bad. Anything good is in spite of Pete Carroll. True discourse simply doesn't work this way. The thinking...

The Seahawks Need to be Careful (Upcoming Draft)

Your anti Pete Carroll obsession is getting a little cringey. I'm sure Pete Carroll still believes in you!

    Character - that's what I saw.

You quoted what I posted for Fade, who seems to revel in losses - oops on you. I'm not sure if you revel in losses, thus didn't state that. I did comment on your over the top hyperbolic take. Nothing is ever as good or as bad as an all or nothing point of view suggests. I get you are very...

Yeahhhh!!!! Hyperbole!!!!🎉 But I know you're all in. You really do enjoy when the Seahawks lose.

    Bad coaching decisions.

I agree that's how it looked. And it may have been a coaching mistake. But are you saying this to make a point about the coaching in general or about how this play was not executed effectively?

I know it was a tough loss...

I agree with most of what you've posted but for stating what they should or shouldn't do. Expecting someone to see something clearly when they don't, can't, or won't is pretty pointless. I also enjoy the extreme takes that people carry with them like a peacock trying to get the hen.

I know it was a tough loss...

Which is worse, the poster who complains about something or the ones complaining about others complaining about something? The world may never know.
