    Pete is delusional

His main issue is that he wants to be positive even when there is no real justification. His personal philosophy might work great on an individual basis where that individual has more control of things and can reap benefits, but when your success is dependent on other people and those people are...

    Geno Tracking Thread

Schneider offered Geno basically the same extension the Raiders ended up giving him. Geno would still be our problem if it weren't for Geno forcing himself off the team. Schneider was gonna pay big bucks to keep Geno

    Geno Tracking Thread

We absolutely dodged a bullet. It still sounds like Schneider would've given him the extension Geno wanted, and that it was Geno who forced himself off the team. If Geno didn't act like Geno he would still be the Seahawks QB. To me it was a no-brainer getting rid of him. He's at the age where he...

    Thoughts?

He of course has time to develop, but i was never a fan of bringing him in for gadget plays as a rookie. I think they really need to knock it off. He isn't going to develop any faster by running one or two gadget plays per game. He needs to practice and study. If they *really* want to use him a...

*Update #3* ALDS Tigers (87-75) vs Mariners (90-72) Oct 4-10 (if necessary), 2025...

The Mariners are a cursed franchise. Cursed with terrible ownership and bad luck. Only team not to reach world series? Mariners, and we've never really be close either. Until 2022 we had the longest playoff drought in all of the major professional sports leagues. If MLB added 10 new expansion...

    I'm SOLD on Sam Darnold

The risk/reward of swapping out Geno (for a pick) for Darnold and the contract he was given was favorable to the Hawks from Day 1, it was just a matter of seeing how it plays out. Darnold could have a mediocre season and it would still work out in our favor if Geno is mediocre. The draft pick...

So the OL is now officially set (According to MacDonald)

This is the least bad I've felt about our opening day OL in a while. Bradford and injuries are a big worry, and Sundell has a lot to prove. Hopefully the OL moves up at least 5 spots from last year.

    Rich Eisen BACK on Sportscenter??

I think he has to wear a helmet, too.

No team has seen more action since the trade deadline...

How are we only 7 games over .500 ? It seems like we underperform every year. We even have tremendous offensive production from our *catcher* and we can't turn it into a dominant season.

Your biggest moment in Seattle sports?

Watching Steve Scheffler hitting a wide-open 7 footer.

JS Should be FIRED after this season IF . . .

I don't think it would be unreasonable to fire him if we miss the playoffs again, but i feel that JS and MM's fates are tied. If the Hawks got rid of Schneider then the new President/GM/whatever would probably want to pick their own coach. Similarly if the Hawks felt the need to get rid of MM it...

Jamal Adams forced to retire after no one wants h8m

The career arc of Jamal Adams continued in the same direction as the last 4 years and has reached its conclusion. Not the worst trade we ever made (that will always be Percy Harvin) but certainly one of the top 3

    Stealers signing a douche bag

I never really had anything against Rodgers until he went to the Jets. That's when he really showed who he is. I'd be surprised if he plays well, and I hope it's his last season.

    Derek Carr Retiring

If he's retiring due to injury there is likely insurance $$$ on his end or the Saints.

    Emmanwori Contract Complicated?

Probably as some sort of compensation for them taking a paycut from their college salary. I hope I'm not the only one who finds it completely insane that college players are getting paid more than pros. I hate NIL

What kind of salary does J.S make?

He gets paid in greasy food

    Niners just paid Kittle

The tight end position is in contention for most overvalued right now. It was reflected in the run on TE in the draft. The Hawks chose a bad time to make TE a major part of the offense.

Are Brock Purdy’s day in SF numbered?

Purdy isn't worth anywhere near what he's hoping to get, but the niners had no leverage to force his team to come down. They can't rely on a 7th rounder to come in and replace him, though.

POLL: Are You A Draft Grumbler?

I think the Hawks started out strong and finished strong in the draft, but unlike in previous drafts I feel the middle is where we failed. The draft is about finding value with your picks, and I think after Ammenwori we started reaching (injury-prone TE with no college production in round 2???)...

    Pick 223: Damien Martinez

Good late-round bargain. I've viewed RB as a 4th round or later position for 20+ years now, and an early pick would probably just end up injured like all our other RBs. Gotta keep drafting RB periodically to avoid handing out 2nd contracts.
