The most defining regular season Seahawk games

All of these are great.. Here’s another. December 23, 2012. The moment Kam impacted Vernon Davis and took his soul. That game was the game where I was like ‘holy shit’. We had just eviscerated two subpar team in the two weeks prior, but this was our nemesis and a really good and well...

Could Zabel be one of the most impactful rookies in Hawks history?

What’s cool is they both kind of symbolize a new direction and identity of the team. Russ was the embodiment of Pete’s “always compete” mantra by beating out a recently signed FA vet in year one. Zabel represents a new direction where the trenches are priority and not an afterthought.

Could Zabel be one of the most impactful rookies in Hawks history?

Nice post. 1982 was the strike shortened season and we went 4-5. Curt Warner was drafted and Chuck Knox was hired the next season. We went 9-7 and more importantly went to the AFCCG. I agree we don’t sniff 9 wins and a playoff win against the Dolphins had #28 not been drafted.

Could Zabel be one of the most impactful rookies in Hawks history?

I honestly think at least once a year we should forego our favorite microbrew or elixir of choice and buy a six pack of these in honor of our mighty bison.. It’s the least we could do. Especially if all of us .netters toasted at the same time

If we beat the Rams !

For me it’s a closed question. Darnold cannot win in the playoffs. Nor can any QB who is sacked nine times in the game. There is a reason the Vikings used their 1st rounder on Donovan Jackson out of Ohio State and signed Ryan Kelly and Will Fries last off season. Darnold was running...

Could Zabel be one of the most impactful rookies in Hawks history?

Don’t laugh… I didn’t say best. I didn’t say most talented. I didn’t say even say most valuable. I’ve been a fan for almost 50 years so I fullly understand how great the Easley’s, Jones’s, Tez’s, Alexander’s, and the like are. They all had a huge impact over the course of their careers...

    Russell Wilson sightings

Man…. Other than criminal acts, has there been a more precipitous fall from grace than Russell Wilson. From all world Canton bound to third stringer on a shit team. As much as he bothers me at times, I seriously feel embarrassed for him and his deafness to the sound of reality. There is...

Might just mess around snatch that one seed

There is no team head and shoulders above us right now. Every team has chinks in the armor, especially GB and Philly. We have a lot of winnable games left on the schedule and I think we will definitely be in play for numero uno. My prediction is we split the Rams and then lose a game we...

    Power Rankings Week 11

Here’s a gem from TSN that doesn’t have us top 10. It has the Stealers (who we bitch slapped in their house) and their Medicare qualified QB in the top ten tho.

    Jalen Sundell

Olu had a horrible start with the snap snafu and a false start at the goal line. That said, the second half run game looked as good as it ever has this year with him at center. If there is a drop off from Sundell, I don’t think it’s huge. I’m for making sure Sundell is 100% before bringing...

    My synopsis vs Cards

Here’s my synopsis. Picture Matt Damon in the emotionally charged therapy scene in Good Will Hunting…… When you are beating the shit out of a team in the second half and face third down. “Its ok to punt” (Pause) “Its ok to punt” (Pause) “Look at me son, it’s ok to punt” (I lean in and...

    Return of epic battles?

I knew it all along. I wouldn’t be surprised if you left your family for @RedAlice and ran off to live in Stan Kroenke’s basement.

    Everyone wants Boye Mafe

It’s hard to make a judgement call unless we know what the offer was. I like Mafe well enough , but everything has a price.

Jets Trade Gardner to the Colts

The only thing dumber would be trading two 1’s for a safety. I’m sure that would never happen though.

    Enter Sam Man

I think Shane Steichen and Mike Vrabel are the only ones that should be considered with Mac at this point. The Niners have a relatively easy schedule moving forward with games against Ten, Cle, Car, and Az. which could catapult them into the playoffs, but what NE, IND, SEA have done have been...

    Jones IV

I’m a USU AGGIE and 54 is maybe my favorite player ever. But hell no. We seem to have the run stop dialed in with our interior d line studs. We need LBs who can cover. Bobby can’t cover like he used to.
