Read the posts mate. I did not compare him to Turbin. 12forlife did

Why does everyone suddenly think corner was not a need?

How is it that you knew who the BPA was when the Hawks were drafting? Is it because a draft "guru" who has not played, coached, or scouted at a professional level told you who the BPA was?

    Zach Charbonnet

Yes. He's an impressive runner, an above-average receiver out of the backfield, and he is outstanding at picking up blitzes. I think he addressed two RB needs with one pick - his power is a great compliment to Walker's speed, and he likely steps in as the 3rd down back on day one due to his...

trade down 25 picks for a 3rd next year? WTF?

It happened because the Hawks got good value in the trade

In the long run, I think he will be much better. He may not be better than either of them right now today, and he may not have a better first year (he's not as pro-ready as some of the other edge prospects). It's possible this board will be declaring him a bust after season one and pointing out...

Why does everyone suddenly think corner was not a need?

Yes. In my opinion, this draft was Will Anderson 1 and Witherspoon 2

This would be a great place to grab Henley

I had 6 players I was targeting in my mocks, and Witherspoon and Charbonnet were 2 of the 6. I grabbed them in almost every one of my mocks. I always traded back to get Witherspoon between 7-10 and occasionally missed out.

The Maelstrom Mock 2023 (With Thanks to Russell Wilson edition)

This is my favorite Seahawks mock on dot net this year. The only pick I don't like is the LB at 20, I prefer Henley and Campbell straight up versus Simmons and they're likely available in round 2nd. No one seems to be talking much about Bresee; I think he would slot in nicely in that 20 slot...

    Jalen Carter

Fairly connected? He is not even slightly connected. Staton is less than a talking media head. At least guys like Salk have some connections, have conversations with Pete or John or other Seahawks staff, and have cohosts and guests with backgrounds in the sport. Staton is a guy who watches...

Levis odds of going #1 are skyrocketing

How many playoff wins have the Commanders had since that draft? Are we seriously advocating for following the lead of a dysfunctional franchise?

    5 & 20

The elephant is the LEO. The LEO was originally called the elephant. That is not the role for Mazi.

    5 & 20

If you think Mazi would be the Elephant role, you are either unfamiliar with the system and terminology, or you are unfamiliar with Mazi.

Would you buy a house from Tyler Lockett?

Buy a house that he is the listing agent on? Yes. Have him as my selling agent? No. Use Tyler as my buyer's agent? Hell no.

Must have player in FA or Draft

What is in the two draft profiles that helps anyone see why you think Sanders is a better choice than Campbell? Missed tackle rate for the top three linebackers: 5.2%, 8.9%, 19.6%. Guess which number is Sanders'. With the lack of contact in NFL practices, it seems likely that poor tackling...

Rank the top 5 players (in order) you hope the Hawks select at #5

After Senior Bowl Seahawks 2023 mock draft

If he is the BPA at that point is it a wasted pick? The history of teams that stay competitive year after year points to BPA regardless of need being the best draft strategy. Fill the needs through free agency and pick BPA. Forcing a position because of need depletes the roster.
