Pick 154: Olusegun Oluwatimi Center Michigan

I've been watching videos on him since the pick (he was completely off my radar prior to the Hawks selecting him). It doesn't seem like strength or power is an issue. His weakness is balance and leverage. I think both are correctable with NFL coaching. Since the Hawks already signed a quality...

    6-7th Rd - what’s left to do

More interior d-line depth. Ojomo, Clark, Redmond - each has flaws but can be good in the right situation. Double up on WR to address the ongoing weakness. Xavier Hutchinson

    Seahawks Draft review and Grade

He's an edge guy not an ILB. He played edge, every analyst has him as an edge, Pete stated definitively in the presser that Hall was an edge guy. Why compare him to Bobby?

Pick 154: Olusegun Oluwatimi Center Michigan

Oluwatimi - 80.4 PFF grade with an 83.0 run-blocking grade in 2022 (almost identical in 2021) NFL.com rates him as the 4th best athleticism score among centers I just started watching a couple of videos after the pick (the first time I've looked at him). He looks like a tough, hard-nosed...

No to To'oto'o, I'd like Wypler but a round later

I love this pick. I would have loved A Johnson even more. Skinner or Johnson at 154 would be awesome for this defense

    Day 3 targets

I should have added the 2 safties to this. Antonio Johnson and JL Skinner. Two of my personal favorites in this draft. Toughness, physical play, and good fits. And LB Dee Winters. A lot of potential gems in the late rounds this year.

Just noticed that A&M safety Antonio Johnson is still available. It's not a need, but I would love the pick. BPA by a landslide, in my opinion.

JS/PC told why no interior lineman picks

    2. Richardson was NEVER going to be the pick at 5. Witherspoon and Anderson were always the targets. 3. I'll give it about a 1% chance that Kancey was ahead of Njiba on their board. 4. These are likely the two that went earlier than JS expected. 5. I don't think the Hawks were as high on...

Pick 123: DT Cameron Young Mississippi St.

    For what it's worth: PFF Grades 2020 - 76.9; 2021 - 73.1; 2022 65.1 B-gap 316 snaps and A-gap 268 (191/240 split in 2021)

Cameron Young had much higher PFF grades in 2020 & 2021 than 2022. He lined up in the A and B gap, about an equal split between the two. He was not on my radar at all; with 34 1/2 inch arms, I'm not sure why I didn't look at him at all until now.

Hall isn't just a developmental prospect, I expect he will contribute in year one. I just said he has not hit his ceiling yet and is not as polished as the guys you brought up. Adebawore was an underwear Olympics warrior. Hall is an on-field warrior. They are also completely different players...

    Qbotf?

I can think of a quicker way. Sign a stud veteran still in his prime QB who knows how to lead men and has the respect of the locker room to a team-friendly contract. Then use your draft picks to get a bunch of young hungry dawgs who love to compete.

I think the Seahawks were sniped at 5

I seriously doubt it. I'm guessing that had Kancey still been available, Jaxson would still have been the pick. The only guy drafted in the 5 picks before 20 that may have been ahead of Jaxson on their board was McDonald.

I think the Seahawks were sniped at 5

Anderson. At 5 they were prepared to take Anderson or Witherspoon. If neither was on the board they would have been working hard to move back. I have no idea who the 3rd option would have been if Anderson and Witherspoon were both gone and they couldn't find a trade partner to move back, but I...

    Day 3 picks?

He's a guy that got a lot of hype from the talking head segment of the media (especially in the PNW), so fans and a variety of mocks had him a lot higher than the scouts, GMs, and informed media had him. The consensus big board has him at about 115, so he really hasn't crashed at all.

2nd Round,#52 Pick RB UCLA Zach Charbonnet

Charbonnet is a good route runner, great catch radius, and is about as good as I've seen picking up blitzes. I think he'll be the power back and the 3rd down back.
