    University of Washington Pro Day

I consider 1st and 2nd round as high draft capitol. 2 of the 3 players you mentioned were not drafted as interior lineman. Carpenter was drafted as a OT as was Britt. They both started a season or two at OT, but were bad. So the coaching staff moved them to the interior later. Pocic is the...

    Geno vs. Sam QB mobility.

Yeah, you are right it would be against JS background in always compete. I'm just anxious about the Seahawks finding their future QB.

I misspoke. He is not good throwing on the run when under pressure. I do like Penix. I like him a lot more than Drake Maye. The thing I worry about if we were to draft Penix, is that JS would never use high draft capital on interior offensive lineman to protect Penix.

    Geno vs. Sam QB mobility.

We are not contenders for the Super Bowl this year. So yes, lets see what we have in Sam starting or getting real game reps this year. Its short sighted, not to do so.

    Geno vs. Sam QB mobility.

I want JS to give Howell an opportunity to start a few games this year. Lets see what he can do with the talent at the skill positions on offense. We all know Geno is not the starter after 2024, so lets see what Howell can do in the kitchen with the same ingredients that Geno is working with...

And his accuracy is bad when he is under pressure, even though he can run a fast 40-yard time.

my undrafted free agent wish list 2024

Let's revisit this thread after the draft, so we know who didn't get drafted.

    Geno vs. Sam QB mobility.

Well be sure to tell that to JS, because that's how he builds the roster for the Seahawks. Get a mobile QB, good playmakers, and he skimps on the interior offensive line.

Seahawks 2024 mock draft March 24th

JS isn't trading down because of cap salary. But, yes we have a lot of holes on the roster. All the one year contracts he gave is a band-aid for the roster this year. So trading down and going BPA aligns with why he may have made so many short contracts.

It was good enough to get him drafted. We'll see.

Seahawks 2024 mock draft March 24th

If a 1st round safety doesn't have the fluidity, then bad fit a FS. He also doesn't have the size or length for SS. Putting the ball in his hands argument can be made for a WR,TE,or RB, not for a defensive player. DeJean seems to be a player most don't agree with as a prospect. So I'm fine if...

Seahawks 2024 mock draft March 24th

Its not "way overstated". JS has traded a lot of his 1st round picks. JS 1st round history he has traded down or traded for a player in 8 of his 14 drafts. He traded down from #12 in 2012 and from #18 in 2018.

Seahawks 2024 mock draft March 24th

For me DeJean is one of the most overrated prospects in the draft. I think he is a similar prospect to for U of Washington safety Taylor Rapp. DeJean doesn't look like a great athlete on film, which is why I suspect he conveniently can't test. I wouldn't take him until maybe round 4.

Seahawks 2024 mock draft March 24th

That's a fair take on your WR's thoughts for the Seahawks. We all rank the WRs differently so I won't push back too much. Maybe I watched too many U of Washington games to love Hampton. i like him a lot in run defense, not so much in coverage.

    Darius Robinson

I like him, but not until the 2nd round. He is not a proven pass rusher after 5 years of college football. He is great against the run, but not a disruptive pass rusher. I don't think he is a second contract type of player for JS and Robinson would probably not be resigned by us after his rookie...

Seahawks 2024 mock draft March 24th

Rice for me is a better much better prospect than Wallace. So if JS drafts for this year's need, then I could see him taking Wallace or a few other ILBs in the 2nd round over Rice. But if JS sticks to BPA then its Rice over Wallace for sure. I like Hampton, but not until low round 5 or later...

Seahawks 2024 mock draft March 24th

In this draft JS trades down in the 1st round with Bills. Seahawks trade #16 to Bills for 1st round #28, 2nd round #60, and 5th round #163. I know some want to stay at #16 and take best available, but JS has a history of trading down in the 1st round and he probably wants to recoup a draft...

    Sam Howell is Geno's Backup!!

Howell had the most passing attempts of all the QBs last year and had the 4th most completed attempts. I think Howell's offensive coordinator (Eric Bieniemy) didn't do him any favors by having him throw the ball so much. Howell will be better set up for success with our playmakers on offensive...

How are you feeling about the Roster RN?

I don't feel good about our future roster after the FA signings we made. JS made a bunch of 1 and 2 year signings in free agency, that's fine if we were already seen as a Super Bowl contendening type of team prior to free agency. The players we signed in free agency are off the team next year or...

Is there a LB in the draft comparable to Roquan Smith?

There is a stud ILB in next years draft, not this year though.
