    Ghastly clown at Seahawks HQ

He was coming up behind people and saying "be careful though, it's spicy!"

    The great Bills/Giants Super Bowl

But the 1990-93 Bills teams all did run the hurry-up quite a bit, and it was effective, but...

    Russell Wilson sightings

Who knew he could have played the villain? Every Seahawks fan and every Seahawks player and employee who saw that schmuck talk about how he went to Denver because wanted to go to a city (fan base) that wanted to win, and that he was glad to be going to a team he wouldn't need to carry. But...

    Russell Wilson sightings

I remember him saying he planned to win three or four more Super Bowls. He appears to be a little behind schedule on that goal.

Joe Buck Knew Broncos Didn’t Stand A Chance

I wasn't sure until the first 12 seconds of the second half happened.

    NFC West...

The team that drafted Joe Montana, John Taylor, Romanowski, Terrell Owens, Frank Gore, and Fred Warner in the third round seems to have done pretty well not trading out of that round.

    Bradford

Not s'posed to tackle at all. The ugly side of this is... how awful a waste of a valuable draft pick was Haynes if he couldn't beat out this stiff? [Edited because the answer to what I had asked originally is that he can't currently because he's on IR].

    Russell Wilson sightings

What's this guy's religion? Not Christianity, obviously, if we consider Matthew 6:1-8 from that religion's primary document, where Jesus says Not my religion, but I evidently know it better than Mr. Look-how-pious-I-am.

    Thursday rooting interest

Just like when France plays England or Argentina in soccer, the best possible result of a 49ers-Rams game is the entire field (but not the stands!) falling down into Hell and taking both teams with it.

Russ or jamais to the bengals?

Don't sell Wilson short. He's shown he can throw an interception in the biggest of moments. I thought the Patriots should have gone and gotten Wilson a few years ago, because he was the one player in the league with a proven ability to deliver a Super Bowl title to the Patriots with his arm.

Russ or jamais to the bengals?

It seems to me hiring Wilson to help the team develop players would be counterproductive, basically giving the players a year developing scramble-drill skills and having to completely skip developing timing and precise execution of plays as designed. In other words, they'd be focusing on what...

    Nick Bosa out for season

It's not luck. The injuries on offense are caused by Little Shanny in the Big Hat. The job, like the hat, is too big for him. Most-overrated coach in the NFL. He schemes his offensive players into injuries, but the national media will continue to declare him a genius. I don't blame Little...

    RW Benched w/ Giants

He is now playing his way off his third team in three years (Broncos, Steelers, Giants). If the Broncos hadn't made the two biggest roster-construction mistakes in their team's history on one player (both trading a lot of draft picks and actual useful NFL players for Wilson and then compounding...

    Jamal Adams Raider debut

Adams is pretty small for a linebacker - he's listed at 213 pounds, and linebackers generally weigh something in the 220-270 range, with the overall average around 245. I can't find a reliable single source on the weights of NFL linebackers in 2024, but in the preceding years, Adams at the...

K9….I think it’s going to be a good year

Does he even need to get hurt to be gone? I actually thought I saw some Curt Warner in Walker when he was drafted, but at this point, I would prefer whatever running backs the Seahawks can pick up on day three of next year's draft. Walker's performance has declined between his good rookie...

    That was not Darnold

Pocket awareness is part of the job. I will say that Darnold was actually better than I expected today, and the overall results from the offense ended up being surprisingly close to what I was expecting. I didn't think the defense was as good as most people here did ("top-five," etc.), but...

Week 1 Injury Report vs 49ers

"His one yard a year" reminded me of John Ursua, who was kinda the Bobo of 2019, but with less actual substance. I called him "Ursuselah" because he was pretty old for a player with so little experience (25-year-old rookie, I think), but many other Seahawks fans at the Seahawks fan blog with...

    Our new blocking scheme

A few months ago, most people around here were ready for the team to cut Bradford. Now him sitting out a practice is somehow the inescapable wrath of angry gods of sport and fortune. After all the smack talk about 49ers fans making excuses I've been hearing from fellow Seahawks fans, that...
