    Charbs on the mend

I like Zach, he's a bigger, tough runner who has a nice blend of RB traits who can still scoot and peel off some nice gains. Has a nose for the end zone too. I mean, why would you want to share carries with Charbs when he does more with less carries & scores more TD's? ZC is only 25, was a 2nd...

K9 playing the “I wasn’t appreciated there” card

Funny how quickly things change. Brady becomes an announcer, soon after Russell wants to follow suit. Stafford is entering his swan song season and Drake Maye got crushed. It's now maybe the Fields, Walker, Kelce show in KC and suddenly Fernando Mendoza is the face of the NFL. Seems like 5 or 6...

    Dante Fowler sigining with Seattle

Juggernaut. I've never used that word on .net, but it feels right to type it today. One can dream without dealing in absolutes. LOL

    Shanahan doubles down on stupid

I think Shanny/Lynch & McVay suffered some frustration and embarrassment at the hands of the 25'/26' Seahawks and will be laser focused at rectifying that. Somehow, I'm more worried about a healthy 9er team than the Stafford, Puka show. Not sure which, but it wouldn't surprise me to see us...

    Darnold!

Like many of you, I have quickly become a huge Sam Darnold fan in a way that has a great feel to it. Even with his turnovers last season, he just brings a confidence to the offense I never felt with Geno, nor RW in his later years with us. Sam has been an unexpected gift and I hope he can fine...

Will you trade John Schneider for two 1st and two 3rd?

Hopefully the eventual new owner will have a hands off approach to the football side of operations with everything from John on down. I'm sure the business/stadium side of the franchise could see some changes but it would be foolhardy to mess with our current team building, winning formula.

    Dante Fowler sigining with Seattle

Welcome Dante Fowler. Seems our defensive draft picks & FA signings of late scream of "We dare you to run the football on us" and "Go ahead, try to throw on our secondary." I think this defense is going to take an early step up from last year and force a lot of punts, and we have the PRers to...

K9 playing the “I wasn’t appreciated there” card

John seems to know the right time to cut bait on guys like RW, DK, Geno & K9 and have it greatly benefit the team in terms of the cap and draft picks, not to mention protecting the chemistry of the team.

Is it me or why didn’t they just franchise Walker?

seabowl is the OP and has posted in this thread 13 times. He is like the kid who won't quit asking why is the sky blue? Why is grass green?? He has been given every possible viable answer including chlorophyll, Rayleigh Scattering along with all of the scientific details & data ad nauseam...

2nd year UDFA Tyrone Broden switching from WR to CB

Mini Harold Carmichael with speed. The extra CB coaching should spill over to our rookie DB's. It's a good thing however far it goes. The guy has dealt with some personal hardships.

2026 DRAFT PICK #32: RB Jadarian Price

I sure hope I'm wrong. Maybe it's the Rick Mirer Notre Dame, Curt Warner injury thing, I don't know. I just like hard running, workhorse backs. Really liked Lynch & Carson & hope when things get sorted out our 1-2 punch is effective. I've learned to trust John more now with that lean patch well...

Player of greatest intrigue - 2026 season

A couple recent articles highlighting the best day 3 picks that could push for a starting spot name Beau Stephens. Seems Intriguing enough to me but there are a number of players that could fit here.

McVay LOVES the Ty Simpson pick!

Still can't believe the Ram's took Simpson at #13 because of worries they couldn't get him in the 2nd, partly because of the Cards picking before them. Then having their draft to seem to spiral down after that. The Cardinals taking Carson Beck with the first pick in the 3rd round was sweet, a...
