    Actually...let's double down. So what if someone thinks it will be a cake walk. If by your own words your take doesn't make you a defeatist...then in no way believing it will be a cale walk makes them a "homer."

    So any level of confidence is "homerism"? Why does a "knowledgeable" football fan have to go into this game seeing it as a 50/50 coin toss and prayer to win? It is possible to admit another team is good and ALSO believe that your team can and will win.

    Not confusing anything. 😄 Just like you said - I'm choosing to "fan differently" than those who give the Almighty Rams the kind of "respect" that they don't deserve - "profound reverence and awe as in fear directed toward a deity." The Rams are not the "deity" that some make them out to be.😉

    I don't think anyone realistically thinks it will be a cakewalk. But we also don't have to always talk like they will be lucky to win. MM has worked hard to rebuild a culture that believes they can beat anyone as a team. Maybe the fans will eventually begin to move past a defeatist attitude.
