Seahawks hiring Brian Fleury as OC

Maybe a touch of peyote in his beverage.

Seahawks hiring Brian Fleury as OC

Agree, and pretty sure JS has his paw prints all over this as well.

Seahawks hiring Brian Fleury as OC

Dan Viens said MM has a high regard for coaches that know both sides of the ball and highlightes several top respected coaches that had that pedigree. Even said that Raheem Morris went from D to O and back to D for that specific purpose. Hawk Blogger talked about the strategy of keeping the...

Seahawks hiring Brian Fleury as OC

    Grubb had playcalling experience.

Seahawks hiring Brian Fleury as OC

Just specualtion from doing some research on Fluery. His career path through qualtiy control positions tracks MM's and I assume posesses that analytical mind appreciated by MM & JS, also bringing continuity with the O scheme. From Wiki: Fleury was hired by the San Francisco 49ers in 2019 as...

The Universe Has a Soft Spot for Seattle

Agree Ruskel f'd the pooch to open the door. The poison pill was Minny's doing though. Blame is not mutually exclusive in this situation. I hope we sign 10 more minny cast-offs that succeed here...legitimately. Still won't change the unethical move the viqueens used to get hutch.

Yeah I called it. EJ is a GOAT

Similar in he might let the f-bombs fly freely...but Marshawn's language is all his own.

Love the McVay pic. Probably 12 more of those from the NFCCG.

    Hawks OC Search

Yep, saw that right after I posted. Sounds like a good move...maybe a forshadow of keeping Janocko. The drama unfolds!

    Hawks OC Search

As the SB fog settles, it's kinda weird to have the short runway to the 2026 kickoff (Combine, FA, & Draft). In recent seasons, a plethra of threads were already in process due to early outs. This year, the OC search takes pole position in the post-season interests. We had it last year when...

The Universe Has a Soft Spot for Seattle

The diff between Hutch and Darnold is we wanted Hutch and the Viqueens used a poison pill to obtain him. They let Darnold go and we snagged him, all above board. Never a fan of busch league tactics.

    Bradfords Future?

That's not what the experts say. While he's certainly not top anything for an OG, he has improved over the season.

    Additions, Subtractions, and Cap Space

I assume Mills is a big part of that plan. Hopefully Big Cat doesn't retire and Reed will only cost $7.5 against the cap next year. I'm not seeing urgency in 2026, but 2027 we likely become thin.

    Home run pick

Of course he is. And JSN is only a slot and we f'd ourselves letting DK go. And Sam is a choker and we f'd ourselves letting Geno go. And JS hasn't done squat for our OL...Sundell needs to be upgraded. And Walker needs to be benched. And Jobe needs to be benched. And Okada is our weak link...

    Additions, Subtractions, and Cap Space

I was 90% confident he’d get re-signed…now I’m 50/50. He’s gonna command high $$ and the Raiders will be willing to pay. Would love to keep him, but may just need to lean on Horton for those roles. And a 4th & 5th to cement a Lombardi is well worth the investment.

    Additions, Subtractions, and Cap Space

Not sure they will get him cheap...but might get him at a value ($5-6m/yr). We will find out what MM/JS think if Woolen in the next several weeks. Spotrack's forecast for him is ~$8m/year, which the hawks likely won't match...

    Additions, Subtractions, and Cap Space

I doubt they cut 3 of their secondary, but could see 2 leave. Bryant is most likely to warrant the salary the hawks won't be able to match. Woolen's street value may have taken a hit with his immaturity on display in the playoffs...so it will be interesting to see if MM/JS think he's...

JS Should be FIRED after this season IF . . .

I apologize saying we should give him way more time than he needed to bring home the Lombardi.
