    In theory I agree with you, just contextually in this instance they fall in the the same type of selfish behavior. I think the comparison is fair when considering players that are highly skilled but have aspects of their personality that impact the game. Not all late hits are created equal...

    I don't fault any player for securing their payday. I think the overwhelming majority of players feel the same way. I would bet they feel differently about selfish penalties in game.

    If you go back to that game vs the Titans that I linked above, it was all of it. In game penalties, taunting, getting in the refs face, fighting with teammates, and fighting the other team. I think that was the final straw for the front office honestly, they moved on from him that offseason.
