    I've been high on Darnold and even that video surprised me. People really argued Geno was better, what a wild world we live in. Darnold has been much better than the group-think would lead you to believe.

    I think Macdonald is still assembling his pieces and doesn't have everything he wants yet. Our dline has been awesome but I still think he probably wants an end who can take a game over and an upgrade on the edge is coming next year. Probably another corner too.

    And combined with McVay, Stafford and how we bring pressure it sort of makes sense. They're set up better than anyone to do well against us. I would expect Maye to be sped up quite a bit compared to what Stafford was.

    I actually do expect Darnold to have a better day than Stafford. Don't think he has to do a ton but I think they do attack them more vertically than they did the Niners.

    Yeah he's looked pretty good in spot duty. They won't ask him to carry as much of the load as Charbonnet I dont think but I bet he rips a couple off and looks good for sure.
