    Darnold is ass

Two of these picks have just been absolutely terrible decisions, regardless of whether or not the placement was any good. Back breaking. He's not seeing the game clearly. It's like he loses his feel for everything when the stakes are high.

    Darnold is ass

All the talent in the world, but the tendency to implode in big matchups... man. It's not looking like he's over that.

Could Zabel be one of the most impactful rookies in Hawks history?

I think its impossible to know. He looks great, but I can't tell how much he's elevating the group on the merits of his talents vs. the coaching elevating the group as a whole. I think he'd be struggling, and be perceived as struggling, in the absolute mess Grubb put on the field and probably...

    Jalen Sundell

Olu came in and blocked really well, especially in the run game. He's not as agile or mobile as Sundell, but his play strength is a step above. Fumbled UC exchanges will clean themselves up with practice, and hopefully his shotgun snap issues (like when he'd rocket it at Geno's left ear one...

    Is Olu really this bad?

This is pretty common when a backup center comes in. If it were a bad shotgun snap (which he is prone to) I'd be less forgiving, but a fumbled under-center exchange is probably just a lack of chemistry. Hard to impossible to tell from the angles I've seen who really is to blame.

Hard to see a lot of my favorite figures in the sport going out like this. Sobering reminder that nothing lasts forever.

POLL: Seahawks Are The Best Team In The NFL

Even they went 10 straight years without winning one, but I don't think a championship is impossible for this team.

POLL: Seahawks Are The Best Team In The NFL

I think they're contenders, but no one sustains pace like this forever. It's a league of parity. They're on a really hot streak of play in which they're completely controlling games - even the best teams ever hardly do that every single game.

POLL: Seahawks Are The Best Team In The NFL

I think they have a real good chance to beat any individual team they line up against, and that's not an insult. I don't think I can say Seattle is the best yet, but I think they scare the hell out of any other team in the league and are the hottest. They'll come back to Earth. This level of...

    He is... insanely good.

Sam Darnold is jaw droppingly good. Also, JSN is the best receiver in football, and Kubiak is an incredible coordinator. Man. Hard to overstate what Schneider has been building here after taking the reins of the org.

    Closing out games

I hope so too, because Kubiak is a head coach next year if he wants to be.

If he can't adapt at all to his changing physical ability, then yeah, that'd be the more accurate assessment.

    Darnold MVP!?!?

I'm going to defend him on this one, considering he's only got 2 other picks on the year. No one is perfect in a messy pocket. Yeah, that really sucked bad, and it was his mistake, but even the MVPs make some real bonehead plays. Just comes with the territory. Sam doesnt seem especially prone...

    Darnold MVP!?!?

He legitimately deserves consideration at this early stage. He's been lights out. Everything people saw in him as a prospect coming into the league - that upside is showing. I will say this, however: Please, all, do not start putting everything as his feet if the hot start cools into reliable...

    Holmgren defense

Majority of the talent in the defensive secondary is out along with our best edge player. Lot of young dudes out there. The fact that they aren't getting whipped up and down the field is a testament to the coaching, not an indictment of it.

Someone dun goofed. Perhaps many dun goofed.

Now that timeout that MM tried to call? We obviously had 12 (or even 13) confused men on the field. That would've been a highly annoying timeout burned solely due to sloppiness.

Right. Gotta judge process over result when evaluating decisions.

    Don’t like the TO there

I get what you're saying, but I don't know why this makes it wrong to use 1 of 3 timeouts in a high-leverage situation. All I'm saying. Timeouts really don't need to be solely hoarded for potential clock management purposes, especially when up by multiple scores.

    Don’t like the TO there

I do. We're up by 2 scores and unlikely to need them for clock management. Make them line up, show their look, etc. Shame they converted anyway on some dumb cross-field prayer throw, but that's good game management imo.
