I think yesterday's interior pass rush was influenced by 3 "simple" things: 1. No Murphy II (look at defense's stats when he missed games), 2. Less effort due to meaningless game; play it safe approach, and 3. McVay is just too good when he spots a weakness.
Who is this “Gino” guy? At least spell his name right if you’re going to criticize. And who exactly can come in and replace Geno next year? The draft is weak for QBs after Sanders and Ward. NFL QBs don’t grow on trees. Howell is much worse.
It looks like good news on the return of key offensive starters, Geno, K9, and Olu. I think Grubb puts together a more competent game plan. Defense will be better as I expect more Seattle fans this time.
Hawks 27-Vikings 21
I could see that. Pete would be excellent there. Too bad they need a quarterback, but defense is already legit. Hopefully they lose all the rest of their games and get a top five QB pick.
I mean, I was sort of on your side that Kimes does seem to be betting against thr Seahawks a lot. However, she did not bet against them in all of the games. Making blanket statements is lazy and ruins an argument. Also her opinion absolutely means something to you 😂!
Mina’s rationale for...
I have always liked Mina. She’s actually a very intelligent mind and does an excellent pod. However, yeah, she does seem to be pretty down on the Hawks this year. I think she was a huge Russell truther, and probably Pete too. Hopefully she’s wrong again!
an identity would be great after the bye week. I want to see more out of both lines; I expect that to be a big focus this practice week. We cannot lose, or get bullied by, the next two divisional opponents. Also it's time for Grubb to get creative! I noticed things were going kind of well in the...
Don’t you remember the Dino’s pub night? It was Schneider, Macdonald, and one of their other assistant coaches meeting Grubb for beers. I believe it was a dual hire. Hawk Blogger mentioned that Mike met Grubb at last year’s combine and was impressed, stayed in touch.
Give it time. The offensive...
I'm a little late to this thread. Yes, Geno should not have slid when he did. It seemed odd, but sometimes Geno is gonna Geno. Russ would NEVER slide there. I am a Geno supporter, as a bridge QB at least, but that was pathetic gamesmanship there.
