    Big kudos

Absolutely. I was gritting my teeth for awhile there, thinking that the inevitable fumble was coming. But Lynch was phenomenal. He was stunning. He was the back that every team wants on their side, and we won. Beast Mode is the sh*t.

    Bigger than football.

I totally teared up watching that. Manly tears, of course. Go Hawks.

    The Saints come marching in.

I even hope they bring their fancy noise-cancelling earplugs again.

    The Saints come marching in.

EXACTLY the same. Intercept Brees. Stop the run. Pressure on Brees. I'm predicting 34-7. Just a hunch.

    Here come the 'Aints

Who is that what thinks they're going to beat them players from New Orleans? Oh yeah. We are.

Did the 49ers beat us fair and square?

They beat us. By 2 Jeez, you might think we'd lost 29-3 or something. Seriously, we played them very close and lost on the road. Doeas no one at all remember how sometimes teams lose? We're SEAHAWK fans. Assuming we're not all bandwagon fans, then at least some of us must remember what a loss...

    Here's My Stupid Opinion...

Oxford comma is only for old fashioned types. It's almost never taught as accurate in modern journalism or English courses. AP Style does not use it. Associated Press. No oxford comma. Meh.

It was those damn White Jerseys

I like the unis themselves. But if we only win in the wolf grey, then so be it. WOLF GREY from now on. Winning is what's important.

    They Have No Clue!!

Playoff berth is assured. We've punched our ticked regardless. We were the first team to clinch a playoff berth, actually :)

    12th man flag

2JZ is most likely right, based on what little I know of air traffic laws. (very little.)

    Seahawks victim of bad officials?

Of course not. But I also believe in the difficulty factor of making the correct call when *everyone's* a critic. As I mentioned. I edited a college newspaper and had my share of students writing in to tell me how "incorrect" I or my staff was. People have opinions. They're allowed to...

    12th man flag

I really don't think they needed "extra incentive." If you can't get pumped for a late season divisional matchup against your arch-rivals who you might meet in the playoffs...then you probably have no soul... The flag was a nice tribute... It had zero effect on the game, in my opinion. The way...

    Terry Bradshaw

Meh. He was right. He's still a looney who's taken a few too many hits to the head (Sorry Terry!).

    Here's My Stupid Opinion...

I do agree. Seeing the 9ers happy is like poison in my soul...But I rest on my argument. The Niners would trade places with us 100 out of 100 times if given the chance, even now. 11-2 Vs 9-4. 3 games left...

    Here's My Stupid Opinion...

Obviously they didn't play as well as they *could* have. We all know they can beat this team. I agree. I had it as a 50-50 loss in my book. Which is why I'm not worried. We're in the lucky-ass position right now where we can actually afford this loss. Did anyone think that was the case when we...

    Seahawks victim of bad officials?

If anyone honestly thinks games are officiated differently due to monetary incentives...sheesh. This is exactly what I'm talking about. Sometimes..it's just downright HARD to make a call on the spot. Everyone's a critic, but let's see any random fan referee a a few games with utmost honest...

    Seahawks victim of bad officials?

Offensive. Where did those percentages come from? I studied as a journalism major and was editor-in-chief of my college newspaper. I find it difficult and sometimes insulting how easy fans are to insinuate conspiracy and cheating amongst professional media and referees. They're doing the best...

    No major injuries

As ppl have said... Wright is a huge loss. Broken foot. I doubt he plays again this season. Thankfully, I'm fully confident that Malcolm Smith can be inserted into our starting unit with marginal dropoff. If anyone ELSE gets hurt, I'll be a tad worried.

    12th man flag

Nah. It had nothing to do with the loss. If anything, it was our salute to candlestick in our own little way. One final hurrah to basically say "good rivalry, let's keep it going in Santa Clara." I liked it. The Niners don't need any extra motivation to play their asses off against us. We're the...

    Byron Maxwell manned up today

Agreed. Clearly they were picking on the younger guys in Lane and Maxwell. But, I felt they both held their own very well. Browner might've jammed the WR's a little better, but BB isn't immune to giving up a pass or two, which is all Maxwell and Lane did today. Ultimately, I'm okay with either...
