    Brian Schottenheimer

Brissett wasn’t terrible this year under Schottenheimer. Sub-60 percent completions, yes, but 13 TDs against 7 picks through the air with another 4 rushing TDs. Seems like Schottenheimer was able to craft a game plan that catered to Brissett’s strengths. Seems like he did a decent job, given...

    Brian Schottenheimer

Doubt anyone, myself included, has analyzed Schottenheimer at a level that would give the opinion any meaning. I’m more than willing to give him a shot. Change was needed and he’s it. Wish him the best.

    Kris Richard Next???

Rex is a pretty diehard 3-4 guy, don't know how that would be received by Pete.

    Kris Richard Next???

Does Seattle have enough of a foot fetish scene for Rex Ryan?

    Falcons @ Rams

You sound silly. I know it must suck as a Rams fan to get your shit pushed in during your first playoff appearance in an eternity, but no need for sour grapes. Head to the Rams forum for that.

Stacked boxes and the run game

If we can’t run, our offense simply doesn’t function. It hasn’t been mentioned much, but our bread and butter is play action. Russ’s deep balls aren’t as dangerous if we can’t suck up the safeties and keep run support duties in the mind of the corners. Run blocking is untenable at this point...

    Rumor: Cable to the Raiders?

No worries, I fell for it, too. Only went back to check after Hawk_Nation pointed it out.

    Rumor: Cable to the Raiders?

    Unfortunately, this is true.

Clayton says Bevell and Cable will be back

The next time anyone has the urge to blame the poor OL play on Wilson's scrambling, please know that Cable's lines have been poor for every team he's coached recently: https://twitter.com/EvanonHB/status/948633871800659968

    Does Walsh...

Walsh wants to be back in Seattle next season: https://247sports.com/nfl/seattle-seahawks/Bolt/Blair-Walsh-had-fun-in-Seattle-despite-rocky-season-113133880 And I want to win the lottery... There... can't be any possible way Walsh comes back next year, right? ...RIGHT!?!?

Foundation of the Team - Moving Forward

I want to be sold on Chris Carson... but I'm not. Just not enough there to go on yet, especially considering he's a seventh round rookie that had a good-not-great college career. My point is that I'm hesitant to consider him a core player. Certainly hopes he materializes into the player that...

    Identity? Running or Passing?

I agree that it showed promise, but what really troubled me about the run game is the percentage of rushes that resulted in a loss of yards, usually due to the back being hit right as he takes the handoff. At that point it doesn't really matter the player. Now, I have no data to back this up...

    Identity? Running or Passing?

How do you figure that? The OL was relatively healthy, aside from losing Aboushi, and Fant in the pre-season. Not sure you could have expected much from Fant based on his performance thus far. The team can't run because the blocking is absolute dogshit. Week 17 we still can't pick up a simple...

Clayton says Bevell and Cable will be back

I can't wait to see which RB we draft this year. It will be fun to watch him get hit three yards in the backfield, a cornerstone of the Tom Cable blocking scheme. Around two weeks ago Carson was close to returning. He probably watched the oline in the Rams game and thought... no thanks.

    First round draft pick

Not sure it would fill the most pressing need, but Roquan Smith is my favorite player in the draft.

Your plan to replace sixteen touchdowns

I believe Gordon is an ERFA, so no chance Cleveland lets him get away.

Your plan to replace sixteen touchdowns

Jack Doyle would have been a fantastic fit in Seattle. Too bad Indy re-signed him... and at a bargain price. Not the sexiest pickup, but I'd honestly take a look at Austin Seferian-Jenkins. He's unhappy with the Jets, and has some nice upside and size to block.

Your plan to replace sixteen touchdowns

No way McEvoy is on the team next year. He's a poor WR and even worse on special teams. He brings nothing to the table.
