    Treyvon Boykin and Vernon Adams

I'd add Vad Lee to this type of QB to target in late rounds or free agency, in fact Lee would top my list of QB prospects requiring little draft stock and the best match on the field and in a QB room with Russell. I'd be surprised if any went before the 6th round. Boykin was a fringe draft pick...

    2016 draft priorities

I'd put Marshawn's 2016 Seahawks future at about 20% right now, attributing that to a combo of his salary next year, his age, his increased soft tissue injuries, and his production. Then you'd have around $11.5m to spend elsewhere, albeit $5m of that is dead cap hit. That's not to say he's done...

Did selecting Frank Clark cost us a shot at La'el Collins?

I think there is a low bar for Jerry Jones expectations when it comes to this, and their local media is more intimidated by the fan base than many other markets. Pete and John got torched almost immediately after drafting Clark, leaving them on the defensive and less likely to take a chance on...

    2016 RB prospects

I like the value prospects of James Conner, out with MCL after rushing for 1765 last year. He's got good size and is strong in yards after contact, so appropriately he models himself after Marshawn. The Hawks have used their first pick on offense 3 years in a row, twice via trade and Richardson...

Biggest threat to the Seahawks winning another Lombardi

31 other teams... Most of the time to start out a season, even the favorites are around 6/1, meaning the money knows the favorite has some chance below 20% of winning it all, for a variety of reasons.

Ryan Tannehill Signs Extension through 2020

King Felix is probably wiping his brow that win percentage isn't the #1 factor in determining starting pitcher value. I don't really get the rationale in fans arguing Russell is in some other league above Tannehill when the primary objective is winning football games, not getting your teams...

    Female Fans and Frank Clark

it is interesting that this particular case has garnered so much attention by the TImes, while the Tom Cable, Tony McDaniel, Kevin Williams, Cary Williams (not charged but suspended 2 weeks by NFL in 2010 for something DV related), and former Mariners reliever Josh Lueke's rape charge get scant...

Frank Clark's Police Report (For Off Field Discussion)

No matter what anyone thinks about the truthfulness of anyone and everyone in this hotel incident, many lessons are being learned around the league in potential risks and blowback of drafting a player like Clark, and I would guess that the draft stock of such players in the future has been...

Lael Collins -- What Are The Chances?

there was a mention of no Seahawks interest while the case is unresolved... the guarantee of the money likely spooked a lot of teams because of that status. They're projecting him as right tackle eventually to replace Doug Free.

Lael Collins -- What Are The Chances?

I think Dallas blew most of their rookie free agent bonus pool on George Farmer, so Seahawks may be able to outbid Cowboys on that, depending on how much of that pool we've spent. Update: https://twitter.com/dannyoneil/status/596355552495706112...

Lael Collins -- What Are The Chances?

the negative paternity is helpful, but nobody can be certain he did or didn't know that, and the woman could have been attempting a shakedown of a soon to be rich would-be first round NFL pick. Some risk remains based on what is publicly known anyway.. But if it is between the Hawks and...

"Seahawks are stupid if they don't throw to JG every time."

Colston has averaged more than 100 targets a year from Brees, though he's also a taller WR and probably better than any on the Seahawks roster. Graham has gotten about 135 targets per season from Brees' 660-ish attempts... I'd guess while the targets may decline, that ratio will at least be equal.

    Mike Florio starting trouble

if you read PFT regularly, you realize Florio has story obsessions with a lot of players, and he has long had a "go Hawks" and baseball Russell obsession, frequently referencing both topics in stories about Wilson.

Frank Clark's Police Report (For Off Field Discussion)

the media evolution in covering this issue post Ray Rice has its positives and negatives. The scrutiny I would hope would have a deterrent effect on players beyond legal fears now, and the bar where teams would consider acquiring or retaining someone with that stain in their history is raised so...

Schneider mentioned front office was bummed...

this was discussed in the draft forum, but absent of high 2016 draft picks being used, it was more likely someone picked late 3rd round.. there had been talk on Saturday Seattle wanted to trade up to #100 pick, never happened and I'd guess that was a Friday evening discussion that someone being...

    Lockett is a brilliant pick

in fairness to Brian Walters, in terms of his job 1 of securing the ball, he was very good in that department on punt returns. Others who attempted returns were more of an adventure.

12 Undrafted Free Agents officially signed

Absent someone else being charged for the double murder, I'm not sure how talking to the police will clear Collins in the short term. Even if he had an alibi, he would be the primary suspect in a possible for-hire killing... That all said, it will be interesting to see what teams have the money...

    We suck at trades

I saw a PFT headline claiming Seahawks overpaid in the trade but the value chart says otherwise so I didn't bother to click it.
