    Awesome offensive line play

    That was so yesterday.

    Marshawn Lynch

The last RB we had like this (in terms of impact) was Shaun Alexander in 2005, especially inside the 10-yard line. Shaun had a real nose for the end zone; once we got inside the 10, we'd just hand it to Shaun. Twice, at most. I remember watching games thinking, "Oh, we're inside the 10. TD." We...

Best road record in NFL! Hey media what do you say now?

Crud. Thanks for ruining my day, dude.

Do You Think Pete, Bevell & Co. Are Holding Out On Plays?

I don't believe we've seen any non-QB passes this year, right? I believe both Golden and Sidney threw completed passes last year (didn't Sidney throw more than one?). I'm still waiting for MRob to throw one. No one would suspect the fullback.

We survived a Mike Carey game.

According to the Internet Anagram Server: MIKE CAREY = EEK AIM CRY. I'll let you make of that what you will.

    Mini-beast

Dude had that stone cold look all night. Even in the post-game interview on King 5. I kind of like it.

Greetings Hawks Fans! I am Coach Shitano from Tampa

Yeah, agreed, funny stuff. Though I don't know if the OP can maintain that level of vitriol.

    Mike Rob

Plus, maybe MRob can get a few more of those sweet screen passes that scored for us last year.

Should Doug Baldwin stay on the outside?

Well, I don't know what happened to the "other Willson" this game, but Zach had a decent game. No one seems to be crediting him for that.

    Can't lie, I gave up

The frustrating thing is that we play this way against GREAT teams AND against (Not-So-Great) teams. Not that TB is an awful team like Jacksonville. But still, it'd be nice to have a few more wins like we had against Jax. Just for sanity's sake.

We survived a Mike Carey game.

It's not that we never bitch about the officiating. Of course we do. All fans do. But the fact that we have a Mike Carey thread is telling. Name another official that gets routine mention here. Sure, you can go back a few years and talk about 05 and Bill Levy. But recently? Just Carey.

You know, Pete's kind of used to this....

Well, there are stats -- and even eyeball tests -- which say the Hawks aren't world-beaters. But then, there are wins. Put it this way: when the Hawks were down 21-0 in the waning moments of the first half, did you doubt they had a chance to win the game? I don't mean a theoretical chance...

    Bucs Played pretty da** dirty

Yup. I can't believe they missed so many of those.

We survived a Mike Carey game.

Agreed. As soon as I see Mike Carey out there at the start of the game, I think, "oh crud*". Seriously. The guy just seems like an ill omen for our games. Having said that, his crew largely seemed to swallow their whistles during the second half and OT. * Edited to avoid the shack.

perhaps some good Tackle news... perhaps.

Yeah, I seem to recall most here were fairly happy with his performance at LG last season. He's been a turnstile at LT, no doubt, but isn't that the most difficult position on the O-line? Give the guy a break.

    Take away Tate's TD

I keep wondering if the NFL is going to turn into the NBA. You know, where the game is mostly about who is unjustly called for a foul when, or who gets to shoot those free throws to win at the end, or who is the best flop-artist drawing that critical offensive foul. Um, yeah, Roger. That's why...

The NFL is becoming unwatchable with all these flags

The Hawks are at risk in heavily-flagged games such as this one, regardless of how the flags are tossed. I maintain that most heavily-flagged games are essentially crapshoots, where the team that is flagged last is likely to lose. Neither team can get anything going (except by penalty), and the...

    Winning is a skill

I disagree: winning close games does make you better at winning. It doesn't make it any easier on us fans, though.

    Bevell/Lynch Relationship

Isn't the read option up to the QB? Isn't this RW's fault both times?

    Tate's celebration

I agree that Tate celebrates too often and too "loudly". But Tate over Rice next season? To me, it's not even a question. Sidney's got game, but Tate is MANNNN...
