    Thats not that uncommon for good teams. Difference is we aren't very good and outside of Williams none of them are elite. That is the real issue.

    I can't wait for next season so we hopefully can stop comparing everything to the previous regime. I'm always skeptical about a story that comes out years after the fact. Especially when John has publicly/visibly shown agitation about being questioned about the move and having to defend it.

    You have to look at projections. You can't simply draft a QB in round 1 because you need one. That goes for any position. Drafting for need is one of the quickest ways to become irrelevant.

    I think our defense looks better but we swapped that for bad offense. How many teams did we beat with a winning record? We were 3-6 at home. We lost to one of the worst teams in the league at home by two scores. It's easy to feel better about what we saw.

    I don't necessarily trust PFF. People tend to blow them off unless it supports their argument. I'm not saying that's what you are doing. Just in general. Our line is a mess. That's what my eyes tell me. I think Cross is the lone outlier.

    My point was we had somewhat of an investment in it. Fluker came with Solari. Tomlinson was awful last year. We had every intent of rolling with Harris/Olu at C. I think it's a multi layered issue. Investment being one. Coaching being another.
