    3 games in 10 days

That is some serious BULL. 1 home and 2 away with the 9ers right in the middle and then again after. Rams and Boys both away and 9ers at home. At least we will have 10 days to prepare for the second meeting and it will be an away game. I sort of like the early bye should give us a chance to...

How close are the Seahawks to a Superbowl run?

Agreed and it really wouldn't even be an issue if he is tossing 3 or more TD's a game, but he isn't. He averaged 1.8 per game last year. Based on his stats it seems likely that the more asked of Geno the more he will fumble. And so far, coming from behind hasn't gone very well. I really...

How close are the Seahawks to a Superbowl run?

Again, I never said it was bad. It is something he can improve. The reason it is concerning is because his fumbles didn't improve like his accuracy did. We need points to win games and if Geno is only capable of giving us 1 or 2 TD's a game then those lost fumbles become a much bigger issue.

How close are the Seahawks to a Superbowl run?

Seems you brought it, I was just pointing it out. I guess I should have also made more of a point of putting words in my mouth, I never said Geno is a bad QB. That was your word manipulation, "Does that make him a bad QB as well?"

    Geno and the Super Bowl

I think he means Seattle can win a Super Bowl with Geno we just needed a few more pieces to reach that level and I think they are on their way. I say they hoist another Lombardi within the next few years with Geno Smith in a limited role and a run heavy offense.

How close are the Seahawks to a Superbowl run?

Geno's performance last year wasn't bad. take the worst and pretend the rest doesn't exist but, hypothetically, if those were his only 2 years then it would defiantly raise serious concerns about his ability to protect the ball. But there is also the fact that only 6 of those 18 fumbles were...

    Geno and the Super Bowl

That is good company even in a crappy QB year. He was 11th if you compare him to 2021.

    Geno and the Super Bowl

I'm not saying they have to have 4+ TD's every game. I saying a QB should have at least 1 game with more than 4 TD's even to be considered dominate in the air. An air dominance metric that is interesting is to take total games with over 4 TD's and divided by the total games played. It works...

    Any Schedule Predictions?

Seen a story that we won't have any international games so that is promising.

    Geno and the Super Bowl

We have been discussing it in another thread - Pete Carroll is not run heavy. I apologize for anticipating that you would respond with an excuse, it just seems to be the standard way people answer these days.

    Geno and the Super Bowl

Most TD's in a game, 3. Yep he's a real badass. A QB that dominates in the air has at least 4 TD's per game and fair number with 5. And don't say that was because we were running the ball, because we didn't. Or maybe it was our receiving group that is now the 2nd best in the NFL? Yep...

    Geno and the Super Bowl

This issue will remain unresolved as long as Geno is the QB. As fans we can accept having a QB that can't dominate through the air but we need a defense and run game to warrant it. We learned that RW wasn't able to carry the team and now are expected to accept that Geno is. But now, he could...

Pete Carroll is not run heavy

If he loves QB's that dominate through the air than why take a short QB? Why do nothing to draft or trade for one? Matt Hasselbeck was a QB that could dominate through the air, why make little to no effort to hang on to him? PC is content riding Geno and hopes he doesn't go off the rails so...

Pete Carroll is not run heavy

BS, He pretty much inherited that in Hasselbeck. Obviously it isn’t a necessity or he would have done more to keep him and have traded up this year. RW’s rookie pay made it possible to afford the LOB and Marshawn. I actually think we are in a pretty similar situation now. With first and...

    Your thoughts

Too bad there wasn't a ref around to see it. But at least the QB got what he deserved for attacking that other player for no reason. You'd think they would learn to stay quite and take it by now.

Pete Carroll is not run heavy

That is interesting, it shows just how close to being able to carry the team RW was in 2020. It is pretty amazing to think about. I think it is going to a really interesting year with our RB's, we already know Walker is legit and they all are good receivers. Which is real nice for a pocket...

Pete Carroll is not run heavy

I think you meant 2021, we were 13th in the league, last season we were 21st. For 3 years we were the highest running team in the NFL, coinciding with Marshawn's departure in 2015. We went back to the run in 2018 when Penny was drafted.

    Geno and the Super Bowl

Disheartening is a great way of putting it. It is very disturbing how much resistance there is to speaking the truth. PC is a contradiction to the NFL which makes you love and hate the guy. We won a super bowl against Peyton Manning and did it with a 5'10" 2nd year QB that nobody expected to...

    Geno and the Super Bowl

I tend to agree because we had to have RW's elusiveness and accuracy on the run when we had that sorry offensive line. But they are actually really close on paper, stat wise, it is arguable that Geno was slightly better in 2023 than RW in 2013. But like I said, it was a very different team and...
