    Best bridge QB for 2025

I'd also say, I THINK some prefer the option of cycling through bad QBs in the hopes that it leads to a Mahomes, Allen, or Burrow. The reality is, its simply a matter of timing to get those types of players regardless of what you're doing. I personally would rather field the best team possible...

    Best bridge QB for 2025

I think it's an easier conversation if you think of it in position groups vs players when you talk about most important. The main reason the QB is the "most" important is because that position group is 1 person. 1 single person determines how good that position group is. I don't think anyone...

    MacDonald riding with Geno

The problem with this conversation is that those plays indeed do happen for all QBs in the league every season regardless how long they've been in the league. If you go back and watch every snap from every starter this season you will in fact see these very same type of bad plays in the same...

BREAKING NEWS: OC Ryan Grubb fired after 1 year

I'd put that Giants game at least 50/50 on the D. They were getting gashed on the ground pre-linebacker change. Some of those early losses were before the D got "fixed"

    Minny Detroit

I think we played Carolina every single year of the Cam Newton era

    Why Do We Need Kickers?

I'm with you on this. I don't really like kickers and it sucks to lose a game because of a kick, but it's nice when you win. And at some point you have draw the line with modifying the game otherwise you'll end up with 7 on 7 flag football.

    Tackling

McVay spamming screens into our blitzes and we haven't figured it out yet.

    The case for Brian Schottenheimer

If I could wave a magic wand, I'd have Canales?! fired in Carolina and take our OC job. He has the Meidus touch with QBs

    Steelers refs again

Cincy has the same problems in the redzone that we do. Even with a top 5QB and 2 superior pass catchers (Gisecki is probably better than any of our TEs also). They operate in an almost identical way. Straight drop back and don't even pretend to run or run PA. It just makes life way too difficult...

    The case for Brian Schottenheimer

Russell ran Schotty out, not Pete.

    Geno Smith

You can't get any legit starting QB for $25 anymore.

    Separation of Top End WRs.

What does you ironically talking about how it's hard not root for one particular comeback story while finding it easy to root for another have to do with spending $50 mill on Geno? Who wants to spend $50 mill on Geno?
  14. OrangeGravy

    Geno Smith

Nobody thinks he's worth $50 mill. Literally nobody outside of his agent maybe

    Separation of Top End WRs.

    The irony is comical

    Geno Smith

"What Schlereth and a bunch of Geno supporters here are saying is that Geno can be good,,,,,if everything is perfect" This ^^^^ right here is why these arguments end up as they do. This completely hyperbolic fabrication just throws gas on the fire. Not one person, anywhere, has ever said...

    Separation of Top End WRs.

I'll also add that our WR group is wildly overrated. It's above average, but there's a significant gap between ours and the top groups in the league. DK being really good at his good stuff and really bad at his bad stuff + Tyler is very limiting. Replacing Tyler with a legit WR, I think would...

    Separation of Top End WRs.

I think more than having a true #1, what we need is a WR and preferably a TE that excel at attacking the ball in the air in traffic. We just need pass catchers that can win at the catch point in high leverage situations, 3rd/4th down and the deep redzone. Still that really only solves half of...

    Quandre Diggs on Seattle's "problem"

The "LRC" movement pushed Schotty out unfortunately. People forget how bad Russell and the O were on 3rd downs forever until Schotty cleaned Russell up and made him somewhat respectable from the pocket playing on-time.
