    ESPN.com Power Rankings

My comments in technicolor. But to keep on topic, I don't think I have a problem with the Seahawks being power polled number 1... Of course I think the Niners are better ;) but who cares lol... Power polls are fun for fans, that's why they exist.

Dashon Goldson is now a Buc, Does Earl Thomas get similar $?

This saddens me. I know he was valued in SF and if he would have accepted the offer they gave him I'm sure they would love to have him back..... But the truth of the matter is that he was seeking out something that SF was not able to offer no matter what, so he had to know that he was moving on.

You get to pick one player from each of the other div teams

This thread is cool, some very interesting answers here. I gotta defend Davis though... He's a phenomenal blocker!

Which Free Agents fit in with the Hawks?

Wallace is looking for top-flight receiver money though, and I believe he's a bit of a high maintenance player. I wouldn't mind having someone of his talent on the Niners, but not at the risk of the potential baggage.

Which Free Agents fit in with the Hawks?

I pray that the Niners find a way to resign Walker. I feel like he wants to stay with the team, so hopefully they can work it out. He's a monster blocker, killer on special teams, and he can do just about everything relatively well. Considering the Niners have now decided that they want to pass...

    Congratulations

I can only speak for myself; I do not care for it. I wouldn't mind one bit if Kaep showed up to each and every game in a suit and tie. Professionalism goes a long way in my opinion. Sometimes, the way you attempt to model yourself, affects the way you prepare yourself for life.

Post SB post ... A Good Thing Really

If you all came around the 49er forums during our dark ages, you would still see the same ol fans hoping year in and year out with all of that unwarranted optimism. These days, the internet makes it easy to chat football with opposing fans. When you all were in the AFC west, there wasn't any...

    Congratulations

It's easier to be a d-bag I would think. But at any rate, your team had a very successful season by anyone's standards. Improving by 4 wins is no easy feat.

Post SB post ... A Good Thing Really

Every team (mostly) goes down this road. Niner defense improved dramatically from '10 to '11. There's no evidence to suggest one way or another that Seattles defense won't regress next year, like the Niners' did in '12.

Post SB post ... A Good Thing Really

Yes, you guys won by a lot. Yes, we played poorly. That does not mean for a second that I believe that Seattle is 30 points better than SF on any given Sunday. The Niners have come out flat and pathetic in more than a few games this year... The game in Seattle included. Might they have lost...

Post SB post ... A Good Thing Really

Whatever you gotta tell yourself to feel good buddy. I highly doubt that at all. SF winning in Seattle isn't some unprecedented feat... We won there even when we were terrible. He didn't wet his pants when he had to visit Gillette Stadium in December during inclement weather where the Patriots...

Post SB post ... A Good Thing Really

Gentlemen. If Alex Smith can win in Seattle, I'm sure Kaepernick can. You all have a good team, but you're not unbeatable. If you guys could have beaten the Ravens, you would have beaten the Falcons. Just sayin. Personally, I'm not looking forward to SF's away game in Seattle next year; I...

Did you watch the NFCCG at all?? How can you say he's not pass first?!

    Congratulations

Just wanted to come here and congratulate you all on a pretty incredible season. I don't think anyone outside of the northwest really thought Seattle would do THIS well. That was one hell of a hard fought game that the team and fans should be proud of; going into the #1 seed's house and battling...

    49er fans

Well I think we're all expecting Atlanta to lay an egg again, but that isn't a given. They could very well come out and play their best game and win. Nolan is an incredible DC, and his defenses usually translate very well on the field. I don't think either game is going to be easy. By this...

    49er fans

As a Niner fan, I do think Atlanta might be an easier game. But who knows... They might play lights out tomorrow; what happened in the past is in the past. I also think the Niners laid a huge stinker in Seattle... I don't believe for one second, no matter how good Seattle may be, that they...

49ers assessing damage done by Hawks: Mario Manningham out

Your favorite team won. I'm sure you're happy about it. What I think of the game (notice I said game, not win) should have no impact on your life. You're better than that mate, now buck up.

49ers assessing damage done by Hawks: Mario Manningham out

Oh man, not me. I could tell from the very beginning when Lynch took that run into the endzone... The whole thing from that point on gave me bad vibes that it was going to be one of those games. The Seahawks are super hot right now.... I don't know if it's better to be streaky, or just solidly...

49ers assessing damage done by Hawks: Mario Manningham out

Oh no I won't take anything away from the Seahawks, they definitely came to win.. And they absolutely did impose their will on the Niners. All I'm saying is that that was definitely not the Niners best game. Had the Niners played even a decent game, this match would have at least been competitive.
