49ers assessing damage done by Hawks: Mario Manningham out

That hit was brutal, and that's the type of hit that we have been loving when Goldson and Whitner put on other team's receivers. I disagree with the penalty personally. Goldson blew up Hernandez the week before in NE on a completely legal hit and it cost us 35 yards! Those hits have a huge...

49ers assessing damage done by Hawks: Mario Manningham out

So um, wow. This whole post might be off topic but didn't feel like starting a new thread to grovel at the feet of the enemy. Sunday night was rough. Seattle played extremely well!! ... As I'm sure you all know lol. That was one of the hardest losses to stomach in many moons. There's so many...

MOSES PREDICTION, SERMON, HAIKUS, and DINNER for game 15

This I don't think I agree with. I believe this game is ultra important to SF; from a divisional perspective, and a confidence perspective. Following player interviews and coaching press conferences, the 49ers team has a lot of respect for the Seahawks and they all seem to be reveling in the...

    Lets Be Extra Clear...

Lol then how exactly would the Seahawks be ranked higher if they win? I don't think they would, nor should they be personally. Especially if they only win by 3 or so. Now if they drop another fitty.... then hell...

    Lets Be Extra Clear...

Oh dear. You all came to the NFC West after realignment at the perfect time, while the Rams were coming down from the greatest show in turf and the Niners era of dominance was all but over. The Cards have historically been awful so there's that. On the topic of power rankings, I see some...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (49ers @ Seahawks)

34-27 Niners win. Score makes the game appear closer than it is.

Personally I try not to go to the Webzone often... There's a severe lack of maturity there. The official messageboard is better in my opinion, but you'll have to register to view it I think.

Are we going to smoke SF Sunday night?

I see. I guess we feel the same way because in the current Harbaugh era, we've been pretty dominant in prime-time games as well. I do think it's pretty badass though that the Niners get their biggest (currently) division rival's games both nationally televised this year.

Are we going to smoke SF Sunday night?

Oh back-to-back fiftyburgers is extremely impressive. It appeared to me, as the reader, that the Seahawks were now on some otherworldly level and the basis of that weighed heavily on these last two games. I think it would be silly to expect the same outcome. And if for some ludicrous reason...

Are we going to smoke SF Sunday night?

Was just using those two games as an example because there's a lot of chest thumping going on about how the Seahawks are unstoppable. Different caliber of opponent definitely makes a difference.

Are we going to smoke SF Sunday night?

I'm curious how the bolded favors the Seahawks? Our last match was nationally televised as well. Home field advantage definitely favors the Hawks, but I really don't see how those others are advantages. My personal opinion is that this game will come down to how well Seattles offense can play...

Hypothetically...who would you rather face in the playoffs?

Just wondering if there was some substance behind such a statement... silly me. At any rate; really excited for this Sunday's game. Should be a death match... just hoping my team comes out healthy!

Pats will help you on Sunday Night..

I think he was just pointing out the fact that you're making excuses for why your team lost. I think the best excuse is that they were beat by a better [prepared] team. Niners are down two starting WRs, and their backup RB who is a huge contributor to the team. Not to mention, losing Justin...

    We didn't deserve the division

This Niner team is also building towards a future. 2nd year QB, young contributors on offense and defense and a new staff. The Seahawks aren't the only team with a plan for the future.

    We're ending the regular season...

Lol not that, but it's as if some on here think the Niners don't even stand a chance. Personally, I think the Niners win in Seattle (duh for a Niner fan) but I am quite concerned should they have to play in the playoffs. I think Seattle has the same youthful energy that the Niners had last...

    We're ending the regular season...

How are so many of you writing off the Niners as a sure win? I understand having confidence in your team but I believe the Niners match-up really well against the Seahawks and would give them fits at either field.

    Thursday game (from Niners fan)

It's not homerism on my end that makes me think this is completely absurd. How can this even be in question? To the poster that suggested Willis for Flynn; no way lol. I'm sure the Niners are desperate for a winning QB, but Flynn is still a won-hit (pun intended) wonder. Question for Seahawk...

Lol I was going to say the same thing. Richmond isn't for the faint of heart....

    Thursday game (from Niners fan)

I don't know man... If I had to build a team today, and those were my two choices, I'd have to go with Lynch. Up until probably two years ago I'd have chosen Gore hands down... But his durability is a concern for me. Still though, averaging 5.8ypc is outstanding!
