    O-Line Weakest Link So Far

please tell me we will be upgrading our back-ups at LT, LG, & RT at final cut down. God help us if one of the current starters go down.

    Joint Practice

It's Holani, not McIntosh who gets the first team reps when Charbonnet gets pulled.

    Kick off rule question

At the beginning of the 3rd quarter Kenny MacIntosh caught the kickoff at the goal line. Had he let it go into the end zone untouched would they have spotted the ball on the 40?

    Who Did Not Stand Out?

Call me a homer but I was hoping Jack Westover would get a fair shake. I know we used a 4th on Barner but nothing really invested in Brown, Mabry, or Russell so keeping my fingers crossed. Go Dawgs!

    My Man Lofa

I love Lofa and happy he keeps the Sonic message on the front burner. I just hope he's not buying off the rack as it lines the pocket of that F@*CK Clay Bennett. Rot in hell Aubrey McClendon!

Nick Harris: We Hardly Knew Ye (traded to Browns)

What this says to me is that Conner Williams rehab is going well, and the coaches/doctors have no doubts about him being ready week 1

    First post in awhile

First thing I noticed was Nick Harris getting the start over Oluwatimi. Is it too early to read anything from this?

    2024 preseason cult hero

Holani's not going to unseat Charbonnet but if he pulls ahead of Kenny McIntosh, that's something. McIntosh was no slouch at Georgia and a steal in the sixth round. I think his story could mirror Bobo. It wasn't too many years back when we lost Chris Carson, and Rashaad Penny in the same game

linebackers - what do we know?

I don't see Tyrice McKnight on this list. I hear he's having a good camp. Oh, and McDonalds first pick as a head coach.

    2024 preseason cult hero

I also am going with George Holani. Making it tough on a talented Kenny McIntosh.

    Connor Williams signed

still think we missed in the fourth round by not grabbing either G Mason McCormick or C Sedrick Pran-Granger. Both having great camps. But that's spilled milk.

    Connor Williams signed

He's fully recovered from his left ACL replacement, and this was the right ACL so he's familiar with the rehab process. From someone who's torn them, the replacements are better than the originals if the rehab is done correctly. I think his best years are still to come.

    Overall feelings about our draft?

Loved the 1st (MurphyII) and 3rd (Haynes) round picks. For me the wheels fell off in the 4th. Grabbing G Mason McCormick & C Sedrick Pran-Granger, would have really bolstered the O-Line depth. We waited until the 6th rd. and ended up with 2 projects. Disappointed. Grade C

    Screwed the Pooch

It was. 5 tight ends, 2 centers. Geno had no protection in the second half of the season. K-9 was always forced to improvise. Let's not waste this talented group of RB's & WR's. We need quality backups at the tackle, center, and guard postions.

    Screwed the Pooch

Tomlinson is 32 and the JETS didn't want him. Fant is 31. Forsythe is just plain BAD. Oluwatimi couldn't break the starting line up and has only Nick Harris as his back up. Oh, and we needed AJ Barner. The talent level between McCormick and Laumea is huge.

    Screwed the Pooch

With the talent level we have at the offensive skilled positions I thought in the 4th round we had the opportunity to really solidify the O-line and give Geno & K-9 the help they need to be successful. IMO there was still plenty of talent to be had. Bortolini, McCormick, Pran-Granger, Nourzad...
