    A Tale of Two Halves

Yeah, the whole half time adjustments thing has been debunked by former players so many times on radio and on tv that NFL teams need to stop mentioning it. The better coaches are capable of making adjustments on the fly, in game. But there are a lot of old school coaches where "the gameplan is...

    Will Pete be fired?

Pretty much this. We've seen this scenario play out before with other teams. Coach X is given a wide berth because of past success. Coach X thinks he can do it again since he did it before. Coach X overstays his welcome and runs the franchise into the ground. Out of respect to Pete they will...

I feel you. All in stride......

    How's everyone feeling ?

But Sarge, haven't we seen this show before? How bad does it have to get? Are we really just going to hope that it will be different this year, or next, or the year after that? That's honestly what it feels like. Not trying to be a pessimist, just going by what I'm seeing. Why should anyone...

    How's everyone feeling ?

I knew this was going to be a long season--but the fan in me still wants to win......... .........disappointed not so much in the team or loss honestly. Disappointed in how badly this team has gone south. I thought we really had something special with Pete Carroll as our head coach. In the end...

Is Lock Going To Shock Us?

No. Next year's draft, we will HOPEFULLY draft another HOF QB.

    Wilson is Average

Meh...... Russ will never be any good in some people's eyes because he doesn't look or play the position the way the usual suspects (Rodgers, Brady, etc., etc.) do. It's been said a thousand times--he doesn't play in a system that those other quarterbacks play in. Yet he still manages to do...

Shane Waldron Our New Offensive Coordinator

Well done. Very well done. He checks all of the boxes. I just can't see Pete meddling anymore--yes he will still get final say of course. But you don't hire someone from McVay's coaching tree to not be creative. We may see some teething pains from the offense next year as Waldron implements...

Exotic run game - look no further then our division.

I'm guessing that's what the Rams and Niners do--give you multiple looks for the same play or vice versa. I've always wondered why the Seahawks don't do that since it would seem like a no-brainer.

Is there any hope next years postseason will be different?

No. Pete will be able to pound the rock and go play action over the top against lesser teams. Better teams will (surprise!) focus on stuffing the run, placing the Seahawks in long down and distance situations (even longer with the inevitable holding and false start penalties that will ensue)...

Exotic run game - look no further then our division.

OKay, I'll ask; what is an exotic run game exactly?

Why is it one or the other?

Basically, low risk football...or in other words, playing not too lose. Last I heard this was supposed to be a major sin in the NFL and is largely frowned upon. Was this Pete's MO at USC?

    Nice Win But......

Pete Carroll simply does not want to play that way. Too much risk involved. It is what it is at this point. Hopefully we won't have to dig out of a hole and play catchup to the Saints or Green Bay in the playoffs.

Rams will be tough to beat next Sunday

We all know the Rams will be tough. The real question is why do they do so well against the seahawks? How do the Seahawks stop the Rams offense? I know I'm not the only one tired of seeing their TE running wide open against us. Xs and Os version anyone?

    S. Griffin questions....

Griffin has lazy tendencies. Bad angles, failure to wrap up, etc. --not just this game either. Honestly, sometimes he just looks lackadaisical---like a player who is taking plays off. I expected more from him, but it is becoming obvious that he is not who we thought he would be.

The difference between PC and Belichick

This for me is the most disappointing thing about Pete. Admittedly, I really didn't know much about Pete other than his failed previous NFL coaching stint and his success at USC. But I hoped Pete would be a coach with a much more dynamic approach ala Belichick. Pete is basically using the same...

What will this place be like if season cancelled

This offseason has been a total disaster!

This off-season is starting to feel like a wash--if not the whole year in general. We all know P&J will be working to fill the obvious deficiencies. We just won't know how successful they are until practice and real games begin. Brooks looks like the only sure thing from the draft. Right now...
