So, who ya going for? Chiefs or Bucs?

I have reasons for and against each time. Maybe if Tom wins another ring, he will finally sail off into the sunset.

    NFL Man of the Year!!

That's wonderful. Wilson is the second Seahawk to win the award behind Steve Largent in 1988. He may not be the MVP, but Man of the Year is an honorable recognition. Maybe next year.... maybe.

Schotty to Jags as Passing Coord. under Bevell

At first glance, this seemed like a major downgrade for Schotty changing roles to passing coordinator for a team that went 1-15 in 2020. I could see how the prospects of coaching up Trevor Lawrence would be a shiny new carrot. Hard to imagine the Jags picking anyone else with their first pick...

Andy Dickerson leaves Rams, to Seahawks run game coordinator

Dang, he was with the Rams for 9 years. Almost thought this thread title was a joke  To have two of their coaching staff go to a divisional rival has to sting a bit. But that's the biz I guess.

Chad Wheeler is in King County Jail.

Glad to see the Seahawks addressed the issue and waived him. He was scheduled to be a free agent. Wheeler made a statement, opening up with, "Events happened over the weekend that transpired from a manic episode." Though there are different classifications and severity of bipolar disorder, that...

Shane Waldron Our New Offensive Coordinator

Probably like everyone here, I have been waiting for this post. From a quick look at wikipedia this will be his first gig as an OC. With all his TE coaching/playing experience, we may actually see that position used more, which would be great. Optimistic :229031_victory:

    Bills v Chiefs

An onside kick that actually worked. Shocker! Tony created a scenario where the Bills could still win. Highly improbable.

    Bills v Chiefs

Up 9. Bills missed an XP. Allen has some legs on him. Hope they can keep it up!

    Brady vs Rodgers Game Thread

Woohooo! I love watching Rogers lose! Not this year, Aaron... not this year! Wait.. that means Brady is going back to the Super Bowl.... I am shockingly okay with that. Get 'r done, Bills!

That flag sure took a while. That ref had a serious moment of crisis.

Stupid Brady. Suppose you can blame the receiver too, but I want to blame Brady. Stupid Brady.

    Greg Olsen Retires

Greg Olsen retires after 14 years in the NFL. He only spent one of those here in the NW. https://www.nfl.com/news/greg-olsen-ann ... 14-seasons

Man, those last two plays by the Bucs were amazing. Stellar catch and forceful run. Made it look easy.

Between Brady and Rogers, I will root for Brady. Well, pretty much any opponent against Rogers :P

    Philip Rivers retires.

16 seasons with the Chargers. 6 of those he made it to the playoffs. Always wondered what he could have accomplished in a different franchise.

    My Kngdom for an Oline

I am completely unqualified to be a coach and barely know what I am watching, :P but if I was to build a team I would start with the O-line and D-line. I have wanted a stud O-line since Pete's first season. With limited cap and scant draft picks, I am not too hopeful there will be any new...

    Great Game Rams

A Packers fan congratulating the Rams on a Seahawks message board. It's an open forum, but it still makes you go... hmmmm :229031_shrug:

    Brian Schottenheimer has been fired

Not against this move, but not confident much will change in the future. Maybe Pete would be better off with less responsibilities. It's one thing to emphasize a philosophy and a different one to argue about calls with his OC in the middle of a game. Hoping for the best though.

    onside kick

Looks like 3 onside kicks were successfully recovered in 2020. 8 in 2019. 4 in 2018. 12 in 2017. 7 in 2016. Suppose you would have to tabulate how many attempts per year to get an accurate ratio of success. https://www.footballdb.com/statistics/n ... lar-season
