Is Seahawks’ Russell Wilson now on downslope of his career?

I for one am really excited to see Russ in a modern offense, and so is he: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2 ... x-offense/ Would love to see an MVP campaign and Super Bowl trophy from Russell in the same season to slam the door on the haters in one full swoop.

Could Aaron Rodgers survive 1 season behind our O-line?

Which Rodgers are you getting? 2020 MVP or 2017-2019 Rodgers that Russell outperformed?

Aaron Rodgers for Russel Wilson Straight Up

It's unbelievable the rose colored glasses people are having with Rodgers. Since 2015 I'm confident in saying Russell has outperformed Rodgers 4 seasons (2015, 2017, 2018, 2019) and Rodgers has had outperformed Russell in 2 seasons (2016 and 2020). People should not be acting like Rodgers is out...

Aaron Rodgers for Russel Wilson Straight Up

I would honestly say no. Rodgers is going to be 38 this year and he's always played with dominant offensive lines. There is no guarantee he would be as good with our offensive line. He's not nearly as nimble as he was 10 years ago.

Seahawks newest reclamation project: Robert Nkemdiche

These are the things you have to do when your draft capital is low. Let's hope for a home run.

Packers turned down #3 pick from 49ers for Rodgers

For everyone who said there was hostility between Russ and management you have to agree there is hostility here too. Since we don't have Russ' heir apparent already on the team that situation was easier to patch up. With Love in GB, GB is now forced to choose between Love and Rodgers and...

Fox Sports Brandon Marshall: 'Russell Wilson is about to be

Some posters seem upset Russell is staying and won't be traded. Very odd.

    Russ not going to Chicago.

TBH, good news for the team and for Russ. Chicago didn't have great assets, and Russ would have had a lesser supporting cast there.

Meanwhile Brady restructures again - Does Russ not see it

I just looked at Rodgers since he became a starter in 2008. His average is 10.3% of the cap. so yeah, not cheap to have a franchise QB that's for sure.

Meanwhile Brady restructures again - Does Russ not see it

People just don't understand how these contracts work. Whenever a player restructures, they aren't taking less money, they are just defraying parts of the contract to later years to create 'cap space' now. Eventually the bill comes due. That being said, Brady has taken less money in the past...

Chris Simms: "RW camp says no confidence in coaching staff"

What I really don't understand in all of this is, is that is it so much that Russell is allowed some input on the playbook and personnel. Why is this not an option? I would assume most franchise QB's do have some sway in those matters.

Russell Wilson last 6 years-$156 million and 3 playoff wins

Yeah from a fan perspective, it'd be cool if Russell shorted himself and took like 20 million a season. But let's face it, no QB other than Brady has done that (and he has a supermodel wife who has more money than him). Even Carson Wentz, who was terrible last year, is going to count 31 million...

Report: Seahawks management not happy with Wilson

EXACTLY! If Russell's motivations are that he wants to leave because Seattle isn't Hollywood enough for him, then obviously I wouldn't support that. But everything that's being reported leads me to believe the dude just wants to win and get back to the Super Bowl. So if that's the case...

Rumors are Russ is unhappy with O line.

There was a great shot in this last Super Bowl of Brady screaming at the sideline, "No, No, No" because they were trying to bring a new personnel group in and he demanded they keep the same play. He won that battle, and they scored a TD on the next play. Oh how we all wish Russ had stood up to...

Pulse of .Net are Russell Trade scenarios realistic?

Not happening. Seattle brass isn't going to want to pull the plug before at least giving a new offensive scheme a chance. And Russell isn't going to want to go to a team that has to mortgage it's future due to the trade haul it's going to take to get him.

Get rid of Pete or get rid of Wilson Poll

Bingo. Some people on here are sleeping on how hard it is to get a QB and Coach of this caliber at the same time. You hit that reset button, you might be rebuilding for 10 years (or more, look at the Browns before last year). There clearly is talent here as we were the hottest offense in...

Rumors are Russ is unhappy with O line.

I would agree with you, but Russ did include himself as someone who needs to play better. If he just came out and said everyone else needs to get better then yeah, that's bad. But this is saying that everyone, including him and coaches, need to pick it up and be better and make adjustments...

Rumors are Russ is unhappy with O line.

I think a lot of people aren't even reading these reports and just basing their opinions on headlines. Things Russell said, he's tired of being hit, the line needs to be play better, he needs to be play better, he desperately wants to play in the big game again, and he thinks Waldron has the it...

Brandon Marshall " Wilson Trying to Move On In A classy way"

Rumors are Russ is unhappy with O line.

As they should be. Not winning only affects the legacy of QB's. No one cares if a great WR or RB was on teams that never won. If my legacy was on the line, then I'd damn sure want a say in things like who our coordinators are and what type of gameplanning we're doing.
