    Greatest Uniform in NFL History

I did not like them. I just said they were cleaner looking. These ones are not bad. You guys should switch to these as they look pretty sharp. I'm gonna disagree with you there. The 94 49er uniforms were terrible. Ugly shadow, ugly white pants with ugly colored stripes. Hideous uniforms...

    Greatest Uniform in NFL History

I'll be honest. I think the Seahawks have one of the top 5 ugliest uniforms in the league. And i've always thought that about their uniforms. The new ones are even more hideous and gaudy. At lest the old ones were cleaner looking. The carbon fiber like pattern in the middle of the helmets and...

KNBR-AM interview of Jed York ..... somebody tackle this guy

Exactly. We are all saying that. Most niner fans are pissed and Marvin is one of the few defending York.

    Michael Crabtree

I wouldn't call Crabtree mediocre. He'd be perfect in a Wes Welker type role.

KNBR-AM interview of Jed York ..... somebody tackle this guy

I think it was, too. Let's see if he can replace Harbaugh with a perennial super bowl winner that conducts himself with complete class and is as great a teacher as Bill Walsh...

KNBR-AM interview of Jed York ..... somebody tackle this guy

Jed is an idiot with unrealistic expectations. Bill Walsh had a mistress and cheated on his wife. How is that for winning with class?

Report: 49ers expect Harbaugh to accept Michigan offer

Lol. You ask any hawk player or Pete himself, he'll say the 49ers and Harbaugh helped make them better thanks to the competition. Pete has said it himself. But obviously it's not the sole reason (far from it).

Report: 49ers expect Harbaugh to accept Michigan offer

Yes, he was chasing Harbaugh. When Pete came in 2010, he won the west at 7-9. All of a sudden Harbaugh comes in and goes 13-3 in 2011. It was a complete surprise to everyone. Say whatever you want but Harbaugh set new standard for Pete to surpass and while he was building the team he knew what...

Report: 49ers expect Harbaugh to accept Michigan offer

Keep in mind Jim Harbaugh raised completely the bar for the NFC West when he got here. Pete was chasing Harbaugh in Harbaugh's first two-three years and surpassed him and set the new (modern) standard for the West in 2013. If anything, like Pete has said, thank Harbaugh for making you guys better.

Mike Holmgren wants to coach the 49ers, per source

Holmgren is a smart guy. I'm sure he can adapt and adjust to the current NFL. If we hire him, I pray to god we keep him away from the defense and let Fangio keep its smash mouth attitude.

Grateful tonight for a petulant child

Interesting. Have not heard that. Do you have a source about York deducting beverages and postage stamps from paychecks that I can read? Nolan said he never felt John York was cheap and did everything he did to accommodate him and his requests. -edit- I actually really like John York. He...

Grateful tonight for a petulant child

To be fair to you, Niner fans think the same thing about the Yorks, but it is a myth. We were in salary cap hell and could not sign any big free agents during the early 2000s and that's where this whole thing came from. York got his reputation for being cheap because of that. For more info on...

Grateful tonight for a petulant child

I place most of the blame on the disappointing season on injuries, off field distractions, questionable game planning, and Kaepernick regressing. Say what you want about York, but the coaches and players are professionals and take pride in their work. It just wasn't our year for a combination...

    Niner fans: Which was worse?

Losing to the Giants in the NFCC on the Kyle Williams fumble for me. We should have won that game on a fumble recovery earlier that was called back to a BS forward progress call and we would've beaten the Patriots that year. I'm not as confident we'd have beaten the Broncos without Bowman and...

    Good game guys!

Ok, you are taking what I said completely out of context and missing the actual point of what I'm saying and this might because you are so used to other 49er fans. I knew going into it that it was a probable loss. Me talking about the injuries suffered during the game wasn't me trying to come...

    Good game guys!

It's not an excuse. It's just a matter of fact. It seems like we can always expect to lose a key player or two when we play up in Seattle. Trust me, If you were a 49er fan, you would get annoyed by all the injuries we suffer up there, too. Anyway, thanks for the kind words.

    Good game guys!

Could the injuries be any more lopsided when we play up in Seattle, though? They've gotten beat up there every time the last 2 years. Even our third string RB looked injured for a second. We just did not have the horses to compete after the injuries piled up. It was a hard fought game and that...

For our 9er fans on this forum

A scrambler can make a line look good when things completely break down and they can make something out of nothing. But when a QB scrambles when it isn't necessary, they can make the line worse as the blockers don't know where the QB is but the defense does. It's hard to tell at this point...

For our 9er fans on this forum

I'm not trying to say Russell is a poor QB and all of us have said he is a good QB. I don't really feel like addressing what you've said as you did not really address what I said in my original reply to you. What I was talking about was how scrambling QBs can sometimes they make their line look...
