POLL: Does Marshawn Lynch belong in the Hall of Fame?

If the presence of Lynn Swann and John Stallworth means anything, then Lynch can get in. The voters often rely on simple counting stats, but postseason performances mean a LOT to them, too. How many postseason runs are MORE iconic than the Beastquake run? The Alexander comparison is worth...

I hope the FO is watching Russ in the probowl.

Aww, you think the Pro Bowl is real. That's adorable.

    Super Bowl 50

The Carolina D is right up there with the Denver D. The Panthers front 7 have a whole lot to do with why we weren't watching the Hawks play this weekend. I think the Panthers offense will be able to move the ball better than the Denver offense. Plus, it seems very much like Carolina's having...

    Cardinals vs Panthers.

So enjoying this game. I hope you choke on your hat, Arians. And Peterson's having a tough game for being a shutdown corner.

So, who are you rooting for now?

    1. Carolina 2. Denver . . . . . . . . . . . . 3. New England . . . . . . . . . . . 4. The heat death of the universe . . . . . . . . . . Last. Cardinals. If it was possible, I'd rather see Larry Fitzgerald magically transformed into a Panthers WR, allow him to win a SB this season, and then he...

I think the other posters who have talked about the game flow are spot on. If it looks like a defensive struggle all game, then I go with option A. If it's a shootout and both defenses are gassed, option B. As for how our D has choked away games, how many of those chokes came after we dropped...

Isn't A pretty much how all of our games in Charlotte have gone in the Wilson era?

If you didn't already hate the Camolina Panthers read this.

Eh, it doesn't make me hate the Panthers any more (and I don't hate them in the first place, really... they're a great rivalry). It does make me feel a little sorry for the guy who wrote it, though. He's clearly angling for a Deadspin gig, but not clever enough to get it. Poor little guy.

So why in the hell doesn't someone in media ask LYNCH

How quickly we've gone from desperate for a winner to entitled jackholes. Other fanbases are absolutely right about us.

So finally who's the better QB...

Do you see any hot takes about Wilson being a game manager again, or an asterisk, after the Vikings game? Because any "haters" could legitimately point to the defense as the reason that Seattle had a chance to come back in that game, and could point to a single broken-play-turned-35-yard-gain...

So finally who's the better QB...

I guess maybe you didn't hear the month and a half of glowing praise Wilson has received recently? The "Wilson as game manager" narrative is dead.

    You almost always are.

Mark Glowinski GREAT job at RG spot!

I don't know. I'd be willing to bet that Sweezy will be pushing for a paycheck commensurate with a starting guard's salary on a Super Bowl winning team. He's been working on a 7th rounder's rookie deal. At the end of this 4th season of his, he'll have earned $2.16 million over the life of the...

Did you know that Minn had 3 starters out on D?

Regardless of field position, I expect that the Vikes will struggle against our D. While I think holding their offense scoreless again might be a tall order, I think we can keep them under 15 points. I see this as a 27-14 type of game. A game where the outcome really isn't in doubt, but not a...

Which is why I didn't say anything about their offense.

Did you know that Minn had 3 starters out on D?

To be fair, if we were playing a game without Sherman, Wagner, and Bennett, we'd probably think that was a fair explanation of any struggles we had on defense. And honestly, I'd be surprised if we put up 38 on them again. I still think we win by 10+, but not by 31.
