    KJ Wright illegal bat

Peyton Manning didn't bat the ball out of the end zone against Seattle in the Super Bowl. The ball was snapped over his head, and Knowshon Moreno recovered it in the endzone for a safety.

What does Bevell see in the bubbles?

I'd love it if someone actually had the data for how many times per game this play is run. I could be misremembering, but I don't recall this play being run all that much against GB either.

Anyone else think Lynch is malingering?

No, probably not. I'm just becoming an old guy, so I notice it more now. Now, get off my lawn!

Heath Evans says the Seattle Seahawks will finish 9-7

9-7 isn't really that negative of a prediction considering they were 0-2 when he made it. He's predicting they'll go 9-5 the rest of the way. So, he's a hater? And to those who prefer to just "wait and see", that's great, but Evans is an analyst on TV. He can't just say, "I'm going to wait...

What does Bevell see in the bubbles?

Not only that, but I think it went for 3 or 4 yards. Not terrible, about an average running play. It's not like every time a bubble screen is run, it goes for a loss of 6 something. EVERY team runs WR screens and EVERY team's fans hate them, for no other reason than they're boring, I suppose.

    Bittersweet Symphony

Oh man, Man in the Box came out in 1989? That makes me feel old. I like the idea of Sad but True, because it will forever remind me of this, which is bad a$$. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dF1PKs-3eQ0

Anyone else think Lynch is malingering?

Gotta love this "everyone's entitled to an opinion" generation. Basically, if you just state something is your "opinion", it gives you carte blanche to say or type any poorly thought out, ridiculous, uninformed drivel you want. No one can tell you you're wrong, because, hey, it's your opinion...

    Worst Jersey Purchase

This is a great thread. I've LOL'ed several times. I didn't purchase it, but I was at the team shop a couple weeks ago perusing the clearance rack and they had, not just 1, but THREE Leon Washington jerseys. Very odd. I asked about it and the guy said occasionally they just find stuff at the...

    Remember these ugly ones??????

So, I guess the theme here today is that the Hawks won "ugly"? Hmm, let's see how many other teams in the NFL won by 26 or more yesterday.....3 (Pats, Cards & Bills). 26 points is not an "ugly" win in the NFL.

So who gets the baton of hate now?

Or better yet, has there ever been an OC that fielded 3 consecutive top 10 offenses that was more hated?

Kam is IN the Building!!!!!!! (The New KAM Topic)

I'm still irritated with the whole Kam situation, but that is just, straight up, awesome. I hope you don't mind, but that might have to be my Facebook profile for a bit.

Penalty called on the Marshawn fumble

I get that part, but in that scenario, they don't just assess both penalties? Seems like a dead ball, personal foul should be assessed whether the preceding play technically took place or not.

Stick a fork in the Seahawks, they're done

In fairness, he does say the Hawks are still a playoff team. He just doesn't think they'll get HFA and thus, won't get back to the SB. All in all, not an unfair prediction. Heck, at 0-2, I'd be pretty happy with "just" making the playoffs. As someone else mentioned, this team is talented and...

    Play not called dead?

On the Lynch fumble, that was called back due to a defensive penalty, right? The Hawks accepted that penalty, obviously, to negate the fumble and gain a first down. Wasn't there also a personal foul penalty though against GB? I don't believe they counted the personal foul penalty. I don't...

    Please stop blaming Kam's agent

Or Kam told his agent to tell the Hawks to pack sand. Or that never really happened and was just public spin to make the Hawks look bad. Seriously, how stupid would the Hawks have been to "move up" $3.1M of his contract and how otherworldly stupid would Kam have been to NOT take that?

MMQB: In defense of Kam Chancellor

And of course, players can sign a contract and show up completely unprepared & out of shape. The team still has to pay them whatever was guaranteed in the contract. I mean, how much did the Hawks pay Percy Harvin for almost nothing? Works both ways. Just have to understand what is...

MMQB: In defense of Kam Chancellor

Or learn to hit a frickin curve ball and play 2B for the Mariners.

Kam' holdout is starting to look familiar

Not to mention his new team would just have to tear up his existing contract and pay him a truckload just to placate him.

Last Night Was Russell Wilson's First Ever Double Digit Loss

2011 actually. Lost to Dallas 23-13 on 11/6/11. Lost to Cinci 34-12 the week before that. Really, more of a Pete Carroll streak than a QB streak.

    window closed?

I didn't think so. I thought Avril put good pressure on Rodgers. Rodgers is just elusive in the pocket. Might be his greatest strength as a QB. The only thing you can really do with him is make him move around and throw off balance and on the run. Sure, he'll still escape the pressure and...
