    Oh, I'm plenty concerned about replacing Marshawn Lynch in the near future too. Anyone who says Michael will replace Lynch with no risk of drop off is operating on nothing, but optimism at this point.

    I really don't think Schneider would have offered Allen a deal that would have put any Earl/Sherm extensions in jeopardy. If you truly believe it was an Allen or Earl/Sherm situation, then you believe Schneider values Allen more than Earl/Sherm, since he made an offer to Allen.

    I think it's ok to be a little frustrated, or disappointed. The front office isn't infallible. They will make mistakes, and it's ok to question some of the moves they make, or don't make.

    ESPN lists the best available FA DEs as Anthony Spencer (B), Robert Ayers (C), Jason Hunter (C), Edgar Jones (C), Brett Keisel (C-) & Shaun Phillips (C-). I will claim complete ignorance here, as I am not very familiar with any of those players. Do any of them fit with Seattle?

    Not everything is about sunshiny days. Allen's family lives near Minneapolis. Chicago is 400 miles away. That's about a 6 hour drive. That's a WHOLE lot different than moving half way across the country.

    Umm, he probably took a few extra days because he was in negotiations with Chicago. He signed a MUCH better deal than Seattle was offering. I'm not sure what would piss you off about that, other than the fact he's not going to be a Seahawk.

    Exactly. Complaining about twitter is like walking into a crack house and saying, "Jeez, don't you people ever mop in here?" I also think it's tacky for Tate to air out his contract negotiation in public. He is a PROFESSIONAL athlete, so maybe time to start acting a little more professional.
