    Interesting Wilson/Sanchez comparison

I'll say this. Wilson as a rookie is better than Sanchez is now in his 4th year. Here are Sanchez completion % year by year: 2009: 53.8 2010: 54.8 2011: 56.7 2012: 52.9 Wilson's % is currently 62. And that includes the first handful of subpar games and all the drops in the SF game. Wilson...

Never been to the CLINK.. how good are these seats?

Im a fan of in between. Not too high, not too low. But if I had to choose between high or low, I'd go high. Like Zeb said, when you sit too low, you only see the field when the ball is right next to you. I'd jump on the seats. They arent terrible. And that appears to be face value for the tix...

Better prepare for all kinds of wrinkles

Totally agree. The Jets are going to play as if their season is on the line. This is one desperate team. They've had to sit and dwell on their butt whooping from the Dolphins for 2 weeks and had to listen to everyone talk about their overrated coach. They will be pulling every trick in the book...

    Interesting Wilson/Sanchez comparison

When the Hawks took Mirer #2, he was right there with Drew Bledsoe who went #1. Had the Hawks had #1 and taken Bledsoe, the Pats would've gone with Mirer. It was one of those years where the top 2 picks are already known. Like Manning/Leaf or Luck/RG3. So you can't really give the Hawks any...

Never been to the CLINK.. how good are these seats?

It goes A-Z then AA through however high it goes. So JJ would be about 36 rows up. 310 is near midfield. So pretty good angle. Here's the view, not from your height however. http://www.seatdata.com/html/nfl_seahaw ... ks_310.htm

Early Surprises 2012 Draft Class (Seahawks)

Lane has been great on special teams. I made a thread about it yesterday.

PFF race for rookie of the year

Couldnt agree more. Luck can work for any coach in any system. And I do feel that there are a lot of coaches who could come in here and want a mpre prototypical qb. My hope is if Wilson really establishes himself as a legit qbotf for us, that when Pete takes off, we bring in someone who will...

Want a good laugh? Indy ahead of us in ESPN Power Rankings

Hawks fans always complain when we have a better record and are placed behind teams. Dont see why it should be different here with the Colts.

Hit or Under Duress. RW 4th Most in The NFL

Wow. That is impressive. Especially when considering that Wilson is currently the 22nd LEAST SACKED qb in the league. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats? ... ING_SACKED Wilson has been sacked 15 times. Here's the most sacked qb's in the game right now: Aaron Rodgers - 29 Jay Cutler - 28...

Football Outsiders upgrades Hawks: #3 pass D, #6 run D

We played great for one month, then crapply for one month. Which should be more applicable right now? Im sorry, but for me, its the most recent one. Just as I would be saying if we played one month of crap defense followed by a month of great d. Which is the case for our offense. I dont know why...

Football Outsiders upgrades Hawks: #3 pass D, #6 run D

I agree with what you're saying. The opponents defintely factor in to the results. That is true. That said, what you're saying is our defense isn't good enough to stop good offenses. That we should only be expected to stonewall bad to mediocre offenses. If thats the case, I dont see how we can...

Football Outsiders upgrades Hawks: #3 pass D, #6 run D

I dont look at it as a matter of total yards. I look at it as a matter of what opposing offenses are able to do to us play by play. For one half of the game, the opposing offense made our defense look terrible. At least by running the ball. Plays where our defenders looked clueless and the...

Football Outsiders upgrades Hawks: #3 pass D, #6 run D

Even if he's a starter. If the 2012 Seattle Seahawks defense hinges on Jason Jones, that's a problem. If you are a top to elite defense in the NFL, you should be able to withstand losing a single player, outside of top level all-pro players. If Houston lost a player of Jones' ability, and their...

Football Outsiders upgrades Hawks: #3 pass D, #6 run D

That's fine and all. But if the effectiveness of your entire unit drops off a cliff sans one single player, a rotational back up at that, then you are riding a very fine line. Great defenses can withstand one missing one player.

Charley Martin waived, Tuinea released from PS

Everything I've ever read from people on the inside of Hawks practices say that the team is more impressed/encouraged with Kearse than Martin. Martin had a nice preseason & offered some things on special teams. But he's done little with the opportunities he's received. Not surprising seeing the...

Football Outsiders upgrades Hawks: #3 pass D, #6 run D

If Jason Jones makes that big a difference, we got problems.
