Take back something I said about Bevell

Beyond the inexperienced QB the Seahawks offense is like a post-menopausal woman. No flow. It's almost like after every play he throws the playbook in a hopper and whatever one he picks out becomes the next play. Then again, I have seasons to the NY Giants and have the priviledge of watching...

    Chances E. Moore gets cut?

We're talking about a back-up TE here. Maybe the Pats have tainted NFL fans, but most teams are lucky if they have 1 TE threat, let alone complaining about the 3rd stringer. Miller is the bigger problem...but not by anything he's doing wrong. Combination of needing the extra blocker and...

Close to being a completely different game.

SF won the game on 1 drive. Obviously Gore and the quick hit run were major contributors but just as major was the flaw SF repeatedly capitalized on for the entire drive. The Seahawks disregarded the middle of the field, with their LBers being nowhere to be found. Smith threw atleast 3 check...

    Vernon Davis: 0 catches

He did nothing against the Giants either. A fair amount of it is the QB. No matter how they may disguise it Smith stinks.

I still only see one thing wrong with this team

Yup. Not to at all look past this season in any practical sense...but if you let your mind travel to the next couple, few years this team is gonna be special. Even more special if they draft well and sprinkle in some FA's.

    Uniform jinx!

Loved it. Closest we can come to the vintage uni....which I still think the Hawks should pull out once a year at home like alot of teams do.

I still only see one thing wrong with this team

The refrain of every middle of the road team....in any sport. Just replace quarters with innings, periods, sets, frames, halves.

Something I fail to see in any posts

Other than inconsistent play I think alot of us have a problem with Tate because of the 'tude. He very much seems to believe he's ALOT better than he actually is.

Something I fail to see in any posts

What I felt after the game was simply that if this was 2,3,4 years ago the Seahawks would have lost 27-6 instead of 13-6. I'm not at all blaming or killing Wilson (love the kid) but our offense is as anemic as it's been in the recent past as far as putting the ball in the freakin' endzone...

The Clemons non facemask call could have been a killer.

    The official debate Wilson thread.

Turbin: yes (obviously) Tate: 1 huge drop, COULD have caught the other two but they were not drops Rice: no way. He was covered like a glove and Wilson floated it out there Lynch: Meaningless...he wasn't getting the first down even if he caught the ball Moore: yes Edwards: this one boggles my...

    Chances E. Moore gets cut?

I think our TE's rot (Miller to the least extent) but no question this is dead on. The Seahawks offense consists of 3 things. 1) the off tackle run 2) the deep pass 3) the occasional short/int slant pattern to a WR. Maybe it's babying Wilson to blame, but Bevell is about as creative as an...

    The Golden Tate thread.

Not one of, THE turning point. Then he has the nerve to say this after the game. "We've got to figure something out. We've got to figure out a way to get it done," Seahawks receiver Golden Tate said. "The season's not over. We still have a long way to go, so we can't let this set us back. I...

    The official debate Wilson thread.

This is the major issue causing the passion in this debate. 99% of the time a 3rd round QB being given a chance to start year 1 would be playing for a cellar dweller, a team on the rebuild. In that scenario coaches and fans alike can much more easily deal with the growing pains a young QB will...
