    SF won the game on 1 drive. Obviously Gore and the quick hit run were major contributors but just as major was the flaw SF repeatedly capitalized on for the entire drive. The Seahawks disregarded the middle of the field, with their LBers being nowhere to be found. Smith threw atleast 3 check...

    He did nothing against the Giants either. A fair amount of it is the QB. No matter how they may disguise it Smith stinks.

    I still only see one thing wrong with this team

    Yup. Not to at all look past this season in any practical sense...but if you let your mind travel to the next couple, few years this team is gonna be special. Even more special if they draft well and sprinkle in some FA's.

    The refrain of every middle of the road team....in any sport. Just replace quarters with innings, periods, sets, frames, halves.

    Other than inconsistent play I think alot of us have a problem with Tate because of the 'tude. He very much seems to believe he's ALOT better than he actually is.

    What I felt after the game was simply that if this was 2,3,4 years ago the Seahawks would have lost 27-6 instead of 13-6. I'm not at all blaming or killing Wilson (love the kid) but our offense is as anemic as it's been in the recent past as far as putting the ball in the freakin' endzone...
