    Defensively...I think with the bye

I think they will start turning the corner. Miami wasn't exactly ideal for the defense but it was better and they just beat the crap out of the 49'ers yesterday. Listening to NFL Radio on Sirius they kept bringing up the 49 injuries but the Seahawks have really significant injuries and players...

Chills listening to Metcalf's post game presser...

I know he had that really dumb mistake with the what should have been a td two weeks ago..but the dude is only 22 and he is already a beast. Listening to his responses and what looks to be tons of genuine character, fire, and passion for the game.....he's just getting started too....i hope they...

    They Look Goooooooood....

unfortunately, i did not get to see the game and while i was initially underwhelmed at them only getting 2 sacks, i did notice that they had 10 total qb hits and 4 tackles for a loss. I would imagine on most of those qb hits Ryan was behind the line of scrimmage, so I am very encouraged just...

Here is insight on why Schnieder paid so much for Adams.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/_/name/se ... e-seahawks scroll down, it's the 2nd or 3rd section of information. He states that he gave up what they would have had to give up in draft capital on draft day to move up for the type of talent they would be hoping for with Adams basically since they...

per espn Clowney lowering price to 17-18M

From everything i have seen and heard, Schnieder(sp) does a good job typically of front loading the contracts so they don't have so much of the inflated contracts in the future years, so I wouldn't think that would be an issue.

per espn Clowney lowering price to 17-18M

I feel like the F.O. Really needs to get a deal done now..they could front load a contract..which they normally do with and/or add bonus and get him that APR pretty easily i feel like. Sure, they could maybe wiggle a mil or 2 MAYBE..but just get it done at this point...

    Where are the pass rushers?

i swear, every year if they don't spend all of their cap room in 5 minutes the Seahawks aren't doing enough. I mean...free agency has only been like a week or two right and they have signed probably like 9 or 10 players right? This is why none of us run a team's front office. If palatable...

    Rumor... Clowney to Seattle

I feel like the rumor going around, that I think I saw on a thread on this site as well, about the hawks not going higher than 18.5 Mil a year on an offer is much more believable.

    Will Dissly

Dissly is the most excited I have been for a new seahawk in a long time...I really hope he gets it figured out on staying healthy. Hopefully it is just an issue of tweaking how he did things in college to gain more longevity in the NFL.

summation of game and season/quelling of Pete Haters

the problem is(and it's kind of one of those the coach is the coach and the qb is the qb things) Wilson is going to be a company man for Carroll and do as much as he can for what Pete wants in how the team operates. What I feel happens is that Wilson really commits to not making mistakes in...

summation of game and season/quelling of Pete Haters

nice to parse my post to what you wanted to with it. Wilson played out of his mind the second half and the guys that showed up all year made plays. Others were either out or the ones not consistently doing so. Wilson bought the bright spots in the offense(Lockett and DK) time to get a play to...

summation of game and season/quelling of Pete Haters

never said that but didn't really feel like that was necessarily on him this game. sometimes the team just doesn't do what they need to do. he can't make them execute.

summation of game and season/quelling of Pete Haters

I see the Pete haters are already coming out in full force. I really don't see anything in this game that is on him. The only real problem I had is that they should have mixed in more Homer splitting more carries with Lynch and mixed up runs where they weren't just going up the middle like last...

    Is Lambeau Field Our Kryptonite?

8-1 is what we have to remember. This team has just had more pure grit and determination on enemy soil this year. They have dug deeper and played with a different intensity on the road all year long. Has it been pretty, has it been easy...no..but I feel like this team has as good of a shot as...

RW can't win without a great run game...

Between the o-linemen and Hollister getting all the false starts there were times it was hard for them to get into a rhythm. They had plenty of situations where Schotty got hamstrung in the play calling, but thankfully Wilson and the offense were able to grind it out and have a pretty good day...

I think some are giving up too early with no homefield

This team is going against more than one trend this year. This is arguably not even the 10-1(well 10 and 2 now) in games decided by 4 or less points this year. This team has been 7-1 on the road this year. Sure, the playoff atmosphere is different, but they have been honing themselves for...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (49ers @ Seahawks)

Um, so diggs was out, clowney was out, Shaquille was out, they lost woods to suspension. so half of the defensive line gone, the best corner this year and the steadying presence they traded for early in the season to square up the back end and they were "healthy" I wonder what your thoughts on...

Ok, so the Seahawks are about due for the random

signing that somehow provides a spark to the team. We have seen them on defense and offense on different teams throughout the years...here is to crossing our fingers and hoping like crazy somehow the stars align and the Seahawks walk into one of those kinds of situations....obviously, whoever...

    Ruminations on the Cardinals Game

All I can say is, everyone says "you know, everyone has injuries this time of year, all the teams have to deal with it. it is no excuse." to an extent that viewpoint is sustainable. I was looking at a stat yesterday that I believe someone brought up here. Seattle has been the second most...

    Woods has been suspended

As another poster mentioned he was a solid contributor. While not a superstar presence by any means I have been able to watch every game this year and more often than not he has been making solid plays throughout the season to help the team.
