    Falcons Or Us....

Falcons loss is worse. Hawks were evenly matched with the Pats but with some unlucky injuries and of course that painful failed goal line play we were out of luck and lost. We could have won but didn't. Falcons were dominating and they still gave it away. No matter how far ahead they will be in...

Seahawks are going to be in the mix.

49ers and Rams aren't suddenly going to be 10+ win teams. Cardinals could be in the mix but I'm not really seeing it. The division should go to the Hawks and that would mean at least the 4th seed. Once you're in the play-offs and relatively healthy, anything can happen.

2017 PFF Oline Rankings are out

These grades are based on last year. So yeah if everyone performs the way they did last year without any form of improvement it will look as bad as last year. Point is that we have no way of knowing whether new additions Joeckel and Aboushi will play really well for us or conpletely tank. How...

    Hawkblogger: Seahawks Offensive Identify Crisis

A lot has to go wrong if we don't manage to do exactly that this year. A motivated Lacy combined with a healthy Rawls and Prosise is the most versatile backfield in the league. Our O-line should also be improved (hard not to do compared to last year). That should be enough reason for confidence.

    Bennett on Kam Chancellor

I love Kam but he is getting older, has struggled with injuries and his anywhere between the 4th-7th best player on defense currently. I don't think 10+ mil would be a wise decision at this point, on the other hand I would be sad to see him leave but that is what you get with a salary cap.

Chancellor #34 and Wagner #39 on the Top 100

So we still have Russ, Sherm and Earl to go. Doubt any of them are top 10 this year though.

    Wilson and OTA's.

Definitely not a controversy. Wilson tried out bulking up last year and it didn't really feel right so he is back to being a bit more lean again.

NFL.com Top Ten Most Talented Teams...

Seahawks not being one of the 10 most talented teams is a weird statement. An argument could be made for not being top 5 but this goes far. Luckily the performance of the team won't be influenced by the opinion of one guy or all the people in the world for that matter. I believe in this team...

The sky isn't falling in Seattle -- and here's why

We have one of the best defenses in the league (arguably #1 even), a great QB who is always at least top 10, plenty of weapons around him and an O-line that looks to improve quite a bit over last year. Any team like that has a chance at the SB if the cards fall right (players reaching their...

    QB Confidence Index

For the people not wanting to read the whole article: Seattle at 10 unsurprisingly in a tier along with the Colts and Panthers. The three top QBs under 30 next to each other makes sense. Fairly confident overall with some questions about the back up situation and the O-line. Arizona at 14...

    Are you feeling down?

Nope, Ajax is playing the Europe League final next wednesday. I'm throughly entertained at the moment.

    NFL.com's Rosenthal Projected Seahawks Starters

The defense is in 4-2-5, our nickel packages usually feature Bennett inside. Wouldn't even surprise me to see McDowell instead of Reed at least on third downs but likely more often due to lots of teams passing a lot. If they decide to run they'd still need to get past Wright and Wagner though...

Least Favorite All Time Seahawk Player

I haven't really hated a lot of players in my short tenure as a Seahawks fan but the one who annoyed me the most was Sweezy. Every other play he'd get a penalty by randomly throwing his body onto some players with that dumb look on his face. Harvin is the obvious answer but at least he sometimes...

    Burelson "Bold" Seahawks Prediction

Right now I see the Hawks as a play-off team that is more than likely winning the division again. If the O-line can manage to be at least mediocre then we have a decent shot at the SB. 11-5 as the 3rd or 4th seed sounds good to me. Anything less would be a let down and anything better than that...

Another nice scouting breakdown on Ethan Pocic

I'm not a big fan of rookies starting besides skill positions anyway. Having Pocic as the 6th lineman who could be switched in anywhere if someone underperforms would be really valuable. In the long run he could be a quality starter at any spot.

NFL likely to approve second IR-return player

Don't really understand this rule anyway. If someone is injured just fill his spot with practice squad player and switch him back in whenever the injured player is cleared.

    Predict the starting O-line

He was a rookie playing with 1 solid center and three other guys who weren't all that good. He didn't have the luxury of solely focusing on his own tasks. He also wasn't as polished as a lot of the other top o-line prospects, a guy like that shouldn't be a day 1 starter to begin with. He...

    O-Line Possibilities-Poll

Britt at center is the only sure fire thing. Glowinski being our second best lineman last year by quiet a margin (still not great but way closer to average than anyone else) so I expect him to be in the starting line up, either at LG or RG. Next two who I think are more than likely included in...

Would you rather have Seattle's roster or Arizona's?

QB: Seahawks RB: Cardinals WR: Draw TE: Seahawks OL: Cardinals DL: Draw (counting Jones and Golden as DL here) LB: Seahawks DB: Draw Close one but I'd still take the Hawks roster.
