    THANKYOU JESUS!!!!

Only 7 penalties, great 3rd down defense, excellent game winning drive, lots to be happy about. I love watching ADB get back into his form.

Report: Hawks Players Don't Think RW is Black Enough

Great article. Being an educator, I've been dealing with issues of race on multiple levels (students, parents, other teachers, state and district policy) for 12 years. I hadn't really thought about race as it pertains to the NFL. I hope these rumors are overstated and I have a feeling they are.

Give a SB Ring to any Seahawk, ever...

Tez would be my first choice. Lots of great names brought up and Walter would be a very close second. Tez was dominant and versatile, fun to watch when not much else was going well for us.

    I remember a time when

Reference to Bo Jackson made me smile. I had a Boz poster in my room when I was a kid. I got it when John L. And Kenny Easley were signing posters at a car dealership. Thanks for posting

    Current NFL Officiating

Not whining about refs calling an uneven game here, but I think the original poster has a point about refs having too large of an impact on the game. Is it an exaggeration to say that a penalty could be called on every play? If that is even remotely true, then they have to work to eliminate the...

Now that I have downed a beer and calmed down...

Yeah, I think we are beyond the wake-up call argument. I just want to see us playing Seahawks football like we did in the 2nd half (mostly). Win or lose, that's more fun to watch than the crap put on the field in weeks 2 and 6. In that respect, this was an encouraging game. That...

Derrick Coleman broke his foot in warm-ups

He showed some promise with some catches in short yardage 3rd down conversions. Also made some key blocks against Denver. In the end, not exactly an irreplaceable player, but more bad luck...

Bigger offseason need, offensive or defensive line?

Keep in mind the injuries on o-line/blocking with Unger and Miller out. I'm not saying that's not a huge need for the team, they have issues at full strength too. Okung is playing through some injury and pain too, but I don't see much hope in his future with all the penalties and injuries...

    Our offensive line SUCKS

I was surprised at how fast the run gaps broke down today. That's supposed to be our strength and the excuse for why they aren't good at pass pro. Add all the false starts and holding penalties on key plays and this is a REAL problem. Most concerning to me is RWs health and development. He...

One game does not define a season or a team

Ah, rational thought. Good thread to wake up to this morning. The Super Bowl was a fantastic gift to all of us long time fans. And after game 1, I was thinking this would be almost too easy to repeat. It's a tough fall back to reality. If you look at our team with objective eyes, and don't...

Illegal Contact + Defensive Holding and the Seahawks

We knew it was coming and made adjustments. Though, I never thought we were cheating. That's why they had to change the rules to stop it. Other teams could have done the same thing, and many tried. It's not like all the other teams were 'too honorable' to press a size advantage or be...

Washington Post on Seahawks players' responses to the game

Sherman the villain, people love to hate him. He's laughing all the way to the bank. Michael Bennett's comment was pretty clever, bringing up a legitimate complaint about the number of penalties playing too much of a role in the game without sounding too much like whining. Reminds me of...

    Pick

If you read the discussion after the article, you'll see most non-Denver fans aren't buying it, or calling for a rule change. The vast majority of comments were along the lines of 'quit whining, it's football'. Just a few loud fans looking for excuses.

Know this has already been—but got my own twist

I think Manning's point was just that it was such a good game, both teams battling hard, that it was too bad they didn't each have a chance with the ball. I see his point. However, to imply the result WOULD have been different is silly. There is no forgone conclusion that says Denver would...

Russell Wilson vs. Andrew Luck: The Debate Rages on!

I like Wilson for so many reasons. Character, leadership, ability, toughness, versatility, lack of a neck beard...But the best thing about having Wilson on your team instead of Luck? All the terrible 'Luck' puns the announcers can't stay away from
